Hello and thanks for the reply.I try adding your code to my "add month" button but needless to say it didn't work as I very likely did something wrong. This is what I had:addRemSub.instanceManager.insertInstance(0,1);Container.ClaimSummary.instanceManager.insertInstance(0,1);//Container.Claimant.InjuryStatus2.InjDiff.instanceManager.insertInstance(0,1);Container.MCTable.instanceManager.insertInstance(0,1);Container.FMRPTable.instanceManager.insertInstance(0,1);Container.addRemSub.CommitteeDetails...

Yes that is correct.I want the new instance to be in the first position when using the second button ("new month") but when a new claimant is added, it will be added following the first claimant. So when there is more than one claimant and a "new month" is clicked, I need the subform InjDiff to be inserted for all claimants whether there is one or 5.I think I have to loop through the claimant subform and then insert in InjDiff subform but I am not sure of how to write this.I hope this clarifies w...

I have a table in Livecycle that has 16 static rows. More rows can be added or removed dynamically at the end of the table. I would like the user to be able to delete one of the static rows if they want however I can't get the script to work. I have a button at the end of the row with the script:driverTable._Row2.removeInstance(true);I have tried various forms of this script such as not using the shorthand for "instanceManager", leaving "true" out, etc. Where it says "Row2" I would use this scri...

My form has 8 pages. The first page has basic information including a dropdown list for months of the year. When the user selects the add month button, a new instance of the subform is repeated on the other 7 pages of the form. When a checkbox is selected to "close the month" the fields on all of the pages become read only.My question is, if the user creates a new month before closing the first month, how can I make all of the fields read only when they go back to close the first month? Right no...

My form has 12 pages (each page = 1 month). With a loop, the pages are hidden until the corresponding button is clicked and it becomes visible (Thanks Assure Dynamics for a great solution to a very long form). In Month 1, I have a table with a repeating row. What I would like to do is copy the repreating row and it's data to Month 2. Then I would like to have the table from Month 2, duplicate to Month 3, Month 3 to Month 4 and so on.I have been able to get the row from Month 1 to duplicate in Mon...

I have one more small problem. I actually needed this to also work on the next table "IDPPerformanceReview/updates" however, it is only copying one line when a new subform is added and not any additional rows that may be there. I can't see what I'm missing.https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9IQwEn8SFJXdGI0YWtXT3k0cWM/edit?usp=sharingIf you don't mind looking, I would really like to know what I'm missing.

When the user clicks the "new" button, a new instance of the subform "review" is created and all the fields in the first instance become read only. In the new instance of the "review" subform I would like to have the information that was put in the table "Performancegoals/updates" repeated in the new instance.Alternatively to this, I would like to migrate the information in the "Performancegoals/updates" table each time the subform is repeated to the "goalsSummary" table at the end of the form.I...

Yes, that is what I thought about the TextField.I have uploaded my form to Google Drive - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9IQwEn8SFJXc2VkTnZsVk4yY1k/edit?usp=sharingif you don't mind having a look. What I need to do is have the Performance Review Goals information repeated/copied when a new subform is added or the information from that table copied to a summary table which will appear at the end of the form. I have this scenario working excep,t when I add a new subform, the new information ove...

Thanks for your response.I have a couple of questions though as I don't do this very often.Am I correct in putting this code in the click event of the button that is adding the new subform instance or should it be somewhere else?I am a little confused about the TextField14 reference here as this is a table row, I have more than one field? Sorry if these questions are very basic. An alternative I thought might work to have two tables where the second is always there but I'm not sure how to script...

I have a repeating subform continaing various text boxes and a table where rows can be added and deleted. When the add new button is clicked to repeat the subform, I would like the information entered in the table to remain instead of a new blank one.Is this possible? Any suggestions as to how I would go about this? Thanks in advance for any help.

I was trying to have my font size automatically decrease when the user is out of space but I can't get it to work. I have seen an example of it working on a form, however, in the example, the caption was also implemented whereas in my text field it is not.Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

The form doesn't have any other scripts actually except for one simple show/hide based on a radio button selection.I would be happy to share the form anyway but am not sure where to upload it?!

My form is set for target version 9.0 and later and the compatibility is set to version 7I think I am going to change tactics and use show/hide a field instead.I do appreciate your help and certainly, if you have any other suggestions I would really like to know. Thanks,

Thanks very much for your reply. I tried this method and my results were varied. The fill colour didn't always change. The script I used worked perfectly fine, it just won't work correctly in versions prior to Acrobat X. Many of the people I work with are still using Acrobat 9 either Pro or Standard and it is not working well for them. Sometimes it only changes the colour when the field is clicked in and sometimes not at all.Is there anything I can do about this?

I am using Livecycle ES3. I have a script that is changing the fill colour dependent on what is selected in the dropdown. This is working fine for me in Acrobat X Pro but doesn't seem to work in earlier versions. Is there something else I can do that it works in all versions, the form is saved to be compatible to version 7 and my target version is set to version 9.0 or later. This is my script on the 'exit' event (thank you Assure Dynamics):var vName = this.somExpression;var fieldObj = xfa.resolve...

Hello,I have an expense form which is acting very strange. It consists of several user entered fields in one table row all formated as currency. In one of the fields however a calculation is taking place using Formcalc and the script is:if(DeptCode == 722)then$=kms*.444else$=kms*.555endifThis field is also formated to return currency. The stange part is the total which is summing up all the fields, does not round up correctly. For example, if I put in 679km which is then multiplied by .555, the ...
