In theory, wouldn't that keep the dropdown box open the entire time the form is being viewed?

Thank you so very much for your response however placing the code in the "initialize" event causes the same issue. The drop down list will open for a split second and then close. Any other assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

Editing the XML worked great for me too. It was the only way I was able to change the colour of the actual 'filled in button' part of the radio button. Thanks so much for this!

Hi Steve,I am having that same problem right now where the list doesn't remain open. It's been a few years since this thread was updated but I found it upon searching for the same issue. Do you know of a resolution?Thank you so much in advance!!!

Hi all,Having a heck of a time here with this one.I have a custom "submit by email" button instead of the 'stock' one Everything works great on a PC but not quite on a mac. As I'm sure most ppl know, when you hit a 'submit by email' button, you are presented with a box that asks you "default email application" or "webmail". On a mac, I will indeed get that using the 'stock' email button. But with my custom button, It goes straight to the default email application. If there is no account in the d...

Hi everyone. I am using this in the "enter" event for my dropdown list:xfa.host.openList("Dropdown2");When I tab onto that field, the list does open but only for a quick second and then closes. Does anyone know how I can make this list stay open?Putting that code in the MouseEnter event works too but that will not work if I'm using "tab".Thanks so much in advance!

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I appreciate your time but I don't think that's exactly what I need. I'm trying to make an input/display pattern that will automatically enter the single and double quotes:So user enters 58 and it will automatically format to 5'8"I can get the double quotes entered but not the single quote because single quotes in a pattern are meant to surround an exact phrase to use.

Hi all! I am trying to display a single quotation mark in order to correctly display a 'height' field (ie: 5'8"). Can't get it to work no matter what display pattern I try. Best I can do is 5"8 which is totally wrong of course.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hi all. Everything fixed with this code. Hope it helps someone else:if (Parents_Name.rawValue == null || Agree.rawValue == "Off" || Date.rawValue == null){xfa.host.messageBox("You must complete the required fields before trying to submit this form");if (Parents_Name.rawValue == null){Parents_Name.fillColor = "0,255,0";}else{Parents_Name.fillColor = "255,255,255";}if (Agree.rawValue == "Off"){Agree.fillColor = "0,255,0";}else{Agree.fillColor = "255,255,255";}if (Date.rawValue == null){Date.fillCo...
