Thanks for your response! I guess I just needed a bit of clarification on Bruce's script!(For others in case they find this thread:)- In LiveCycle, add script to the click event of the button:event.target.exportDataObject({ cName: "Tips.pdf", nLaunch: 2 });- Open document in Acrobat Pro and attach "Tips.pdf".Awesome, thanks for clearing that up for me!! It works like a charm!!Ash

Hello!I have been researching this for a few days now, and still have not found a viable solution. I need to attach a PDF of "Help Tips" to a form I created in LiveCycle. Then, I want to add a button or link for the user to click that will open the "Help Tips" attachment.I have done this many times in Acrobat Pro, and while I can still add an attachment in Acrobat, I can no longer add a button to open it because the form has been created in LiveCycle.Someone had asked a similar question here, ht...

Hello!I have been working on a form in LiveCycle recently, and had a request to add a button a user can click, that will bring up another form that is attached to it.I used to do this with ease in Acrobat Pro, by adding an attachment, and then creating a button that will open that attachment, however I am a bit stumped as to how to do this in LiveCycle, and since my form was created in LiveCycle, I can no longer edit it or add this functionality in Acrobat Pro.Just to reiterate / clarify, here i...

This is a great trick, thanks so much radzmar! Is there any way to format the bullet point's indent spacing? Mine appear too far to the left from the edge of my text field, and I have tried manipulating the indent and margins to no avail.Example (they appear like this in my field):Header 1I would like them to appear like this: (closer to the edge)Header 1Is there a bit of code I can add to the XML markup? Hello!I am currently working on a form created in Adobe LiveCycle for my employer and had a request to add placeholder "ghost" text that disappears when a field is typed into. I was able to achieve this via scripting with the instructions here:https://forums.adobe.com/message/3916584However, I am now faced with a different problem. The field itself is a multi-line text field that is supposed to include bullet points. Example below:TitleInsert your text here (this text, but not the bullet point, ...

Hello again!I am currently working on creating a form and my employeer requested an added functionality that I am not sure is possible in LiveCycle. We currently have a 2 column layout, but he wants to include the ability for the user to click on a button and add an additional column for comments.I have seen video tutorials and threads about the ability to add rows with a button, so I know that much is possible - but can you do this with columns as well? Thanks so much in advance!Best Regards,Ashl...

Thanks for the information! I think that maybe it is the 2 color transparency issue that I am having. Some of my images have 2+ colors in them in addition to a transparent background. This is kind of a silly limitation for LiveCycle honestly, because many people use PNG files with more than one color!I will try to scale down the amount of colors or use JPEGs instead - thanks! Best Regards,Ashley

Hello!I am currently working on a form in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. The form has a few PNG images with transparent backgrounds included in it as part of the design of the form. When I save the form as a dynamic XML PDF, the images appear fine. But when I print them, they don't look right and appear as artifacted blocks of color. All of the images are 300dpi 8 bit RGB PNG images. I have tried embedding the images but it doesn't make a different when printing. The strangest thing of all is that the ...
