    I figured it out. I was importing a pdf to use as the "background image". For some reason, this gives me no ability to control the content area, which was stuck at its default. The defualt content area does not extend to the edge of the page. I fixed it by using a jpg as the background image instead...

    I do not have snap to grid enabled, and I have placed the image field right in the bottom.It appears fine in Live Cycle, but when the user opens it with reader and places their image in the image field it is no longer against the side of the page
