Are you using the Workbench to create the process? Can you post a screen shot of the Process so we have a better idea of your process.

Apart from logging internal variables, if you want to debug the code that you have written you can use remote debugging with Jboss assuming you are using AEM forms on Jboss. Even if you are using any other application server like WAS / WebLogic, remote debugging can be enabled to debug your code

OK, thanks.I have tried some things now and what seams to work is to remove attribute relation in element pageSet of the second form. Do you think that could work in the long run, or will it not work every where or will it have side-affects? This process is only used for Printing multiple forms in one go, and the changes I make will only apply during the "process lifetime" in memory.

Thanks. I didn't Think about that. I'll try that later. For now I managed to rearange so that I don't need the list, and use the source document to pull data from.

After som more experientation I found that if I use a string variable to transfer the data it seams to work. I insert it between a start- and end-tag and then use it after I have embedded it in exsl:node-set() to make it work as XML.'{$/process_data/@xmlTopNodes$}'

I have stumbled upon a problem that halts my efforts to create a process that merges documents with Assembler. The problem occurs when I try to merge any XDP with another XDP containing field element with para element containing attribute use with the value of designer__defaultWidowOrphanSettings.para. This results in the following error:ALC-ASM-S00-002: Failed to execute the DDX - error messages provided.PDFM_S02013: The "appendDocument" operation failed on "E:\Appl\Temp\AdobeDocumentStorage\lo...

Hi Bjorn,Application data exists in database, Global Document Storage (GDS), and AEM repository . GDS stores long-lived files that are used within a process , files may include PDFs, form templates etc.Whatever you have created in your workbench or imported from the server to your workbench may be found locally under C:\Users\\Workbench but it appears to me your query is more in terms of run time data .Please clarify For reference below image describes the LC application data store .

Bjorn, if you want to insert nodes, then I'd recommend going straight to the script component, or alternatively create your own custom DSC JAR that allows you to insert, and remove nodes. If you do know how many nodes you have in your XML, adding a node via /VariableName/NodeName[1] will create a new node for you. Again, custom DSC will allow you much more flexibility when it comes to manipulating XML.

I'm having problems installing AEM Forms 6.2 on clean Windows Server 2012. Installing 6.1 works fine. The first problem occures when I try to change the administrator password in "Adobe Experience Manager Web Console Configuration -> Adobe LiveCycle Client SDK Configuration". The log shows errors as below. Changing admin password in admin-ui works fine. What have I missed? Are there JAR-files missing someplace? Sorry for the formatting mess. IE 11 or Edge can't handle the editor-JS on this page....

One needs to go through and understand the complete PDF/A1b spec in order to understand the changes done to the regular PDF documents to convert them into PDF/A files.

The reason I asked about experimenting with multithreading is because I've frequently noticed that when looking at CPU usage, while doing the conversion it may not be maxed out. So, when running tests, you may be able to process more than one file at the same time and actually come out with the same processing time. So, while 4 seconds may be long for a single file, you may be able to process 2 files in those 4 seconds.

Hi there!Have you thought about using Pattern Matching:http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/11.0/WorkbenchHelp/WS92d06802c76abadb-1cc35bda128261a20dd-7c2f.2.htmlThis option allows you to call a named XDP when a specific node is found in the XML. Based on your description, it should meet your requirements.

Today I stumbled on "Check out CVS Project" in the "Cheat Sheets" section. Those instructions and "Click to perform" doesn't work in my 6.1 Workbench. Are they supposed to work, or is this just something that Adobe forgot to remove from Eclipse when they did the Workbench package?

Yes , event handling can be done using default exception event(as you rightly caught flash with a circle) as well , but it will handle limited exceptions only for ex: GeneratePDFOutput2 provides you with SYSTEM and OUTPUT exception only by default.

BjornEricsson wrote... Is it possible to watermark dynamic pdf? I tried the watermark function of Assembler Service but got 'PDF document "test.pdf" has dynamic XFA forms and cannot support content operations.' Is there any other way that might bring success? The message is basically telling you that your PDF is an interactive XFA document and not a flat PDF document. I don't think Assembler allows you to add watermarks to an XFA interactive document. Try flattening the document first by passing...

BjornEricsson wrote... How do I set the status code (500) when I detect that input is not correct? I guess this is no ordinary Output variable? Processes returns 500 code when there is an exception. While, I haven't done it myself, try if you are able to throw an Exception event.

I have tried in vain to google the result of this question: What versions of PDF/A does Assembler Service of AEM 6.1 support? The latest DDFRef document I found was from 2009. My main interest is to find out if it supports PDF/A-3./BS
