Regarding your suggestion of making Reader submit the template, this will not solve my problem of trying to detect tampering, a hacker may create a submission with a good template but a hacked PDF.I do believe the template must be embedded inside the PDF. I can open the PDF with LiveCycle Designer and view the template ( view xml source ), i can also instruct Reader to submit XDP with template from the same PDF, so Reader is able to somehow extract the template from the bianry PDF....

Hello,If I reader extend a form using the web interface and later i need to modify the form, meaning i will make changes to the form and would like to deploy the new form instead of the old one. In v 7, there was a way to specify that this form is a new revision of an old form so the counter does not get incremented, but i do not see th...

Hello,We are developing a public service application where users submit static LiveCycle forms via the internet. We have a submit button that submits the form as XDP to an http URL.i have 2 questions:1- Is it possible to provide a progress indicator of the form submit/upload process ? The form size can exceed 1M ( up to 50 pages ! ) and could take a minute to upload on slow connections.2- We would like to authenticate the user doing the submission, what is the recommended method to do this ? man...
