Hello we are using the spellcheck plugin for the richtext editor component.Unfortunately, i cannot find a working french dictionary.I always get some strange error messages likeCould not spellcheck due to an underlying i/o issue. java.io.IOException: Unable to create affix manager: Affix L is corrupt near line PFX L' 0 l' [aà âeèéêiîoôuyhÅ?æAÃ?Ã?EÃ?Ã?Ã?IÃ?OÃ?UYHÅ?Ã?] 99when i use the dictionaries from the Open Office archive page.I tried various other sources, but was unlucky.Does someone...

we had similar issues with the spellcheck service.i don't know how to call your own servlet, but maybe this will help:after decompiling the default servlet, i figured out, that you cnn pass the parameter "language" to the service.Unfortunately, this doesn't work out of the box.You have to modify the SpellCheckerPlugin and add the language parameter before calling the service.Checkout the "checkText" function and add the language parameter to the "param" variable in/libs/cq/ui/widgets/source/widg...

thanks for your answers.i feared that my previous approach is bad practice, thanks for confirmation.so i will check your suggestions and hopefully find a solution 🙂the service approach sounds reasonable to me, even though we think it is a bit risky do this kind of data manipulation on an already running system, as we might have to change other components which use the existing data.best regardspatrick
