Re: Auto number new repeating rows - Adobe LiveCycle 19-04-2022
Hi delalou, if you wish to achieve this using letters, you can use this script in the calculate event of the field you wish to display them.if ((Row1.index+1)/ 26 <= 1){ //Display a single letter if row index if below Z String.fromCharCode(65+Row1.index); } else{ //Display double digit letters up to ZZ (702 rows max) intFirstLetter = Math.floor(Row1.index/26)-1; intSecondLetter = Row1.index%26; String.fromCharCode(65+intFirstLetter, 65 + intSecondLetter); }I hope this will help, don't hesitate t...

Re: Bold only part of text field populated by JavaScript? - Adobe LiveCycle 12-02-2022
Hi there, if you wish to achieve something similar to the initial post of this thread follow the instructions: First ensure that your field contains Rich Text, if your field is in fact a text field you have to change the field format in Object palette to match Rich Text instead of Plain Text. Afterwards, if you wish to change the value of the field with specific rich text format, you must have an XML version ready to implement in the field. Any XML version is available to you if you copy the xml...

Re: Multiple Dependent Dropdown Menus in ES3 - Adobe LiveCycle 08-07-2021
Hi, sorry for the delay, you can try the gofile link once again, the file should be there. For the signature validation it is sketchy... I've already managed to get some work done with the fields but it is not that easy. A digital signature can't be verified in any given event. It's very specific to certain events. There's too many security restrictions related to the field that it is not very friendly to work around with its data.

Re: Re; Reset a form based on users checkbox selection - Adobe LiveCycle 06-04-2021
Well then you might want to specify inside the resetData function which subform(s) you want to reset like I showed previously. Ensure that all subforms you insert are the ones you want to reset only, which should exclude any subform containing the canopy subform.

For the file naming you could use the replace function in JavaScript like + timestamp.rawValue.replace(/:/g, '.')

Re: How do I lock all fields on submitting form? - Adobe LiveCycle 26-03-2021
Hi Magus069, Thanks for the further info. I pasted that script into the "calculate" fields for the current date and time. They are set to formcalc, and run at client. However, it's still not working; after converting to a "reader extended PDF", if I then complete and submit the form in Adobe Reader, whenever I open the submitted form in Adobe Reader, the time field still updates again.
