Hi, sorry for the delay, you can try the gofile link once again, the file should be there. For the signature validation it is sketchy... I've already managed to get some work done with the fields but it is not that easy. A digital signature can't be verified in any given event. It's very specific to certain events. There's too many security restrictions related to the field that it is not very friendly to work around with its data.

Well then you might want to specify inside the resetData function which subform(s) you want to reset like I showed previously. Ensure that all subforms you insert are the ones you want to reset only, which should exclude any subform containing the canopy subform.

For the file naming you could use the replace function in JavaScript like + timestamp.rawValue.replace(/:/g, '.')

Hi Magus069, Thanks for the further info. I pasted that script into the "calculate" fields for the current date and time. They are set to formcalc, and run at client. However, it's still not working; after converting to a "reader extended PDF", if I then complete and submit the form in Adobe Reader, whenever I open the submitted form in Adobe Reader, the time field still updates again.

Why did you change to FormCalc for layout behaviour? You should be able to do this in JS as well?

Hi there, I haven't checked out how to do this using FormCalc, but with JavaScript it is do-able.One way to do it would be having a loop to iterate as many times it needs to end up adding 30 working days. This technically will not consider public holidays, if you want to take it in consideration you will need to add in some more details. So here's how I'd do it: //Verify that the value of the date field is different than null if (initDate.rawValue != null){ //Split the year/month/day of the date ...

Hi there, One way to do this you'd have to use JavaScript to complete the submit along with the validation.See the following link:https://acrobatusers.com/forum/forms-livecycle-designer/modify-submit-button-pick-email-address-fromlivecycle-form-field/ This way you might have to find how to achieve the appropriate validation before executing the submit function.Afterwards, you can do some extra script to your liking. Hope this will help.

@Kosta_Prokopiu1 So I manually enter the information. Then I save it on my desktop. I then send it to recipients via email. They cannot change the form. It has happened multiple times, in multiple fields. When I attach to an email, it is correct. Once I send it, if I go back and look at the email I sent, some of the drop down fields have changed. And the recipients get the self changing form as well. I cannot print the form, we are all working from home and everything has to be digital. I have r...

Hi there, it seems like any property edge within the "ui.oneOfChild.border" has only 1 instance that can be modified. In any case that instance would be 0 instead of 2.If you want to modify that specific instance, such as 2, you would need to access directly the border property of the object like the following.$.border.getElement("edge", 2).presence = "visible";the difference between both is the following:accessing the border/edge property of an UI is the borders that represent the field, such a...

Hi there,I may assist in french if you wish, is the software locale in french or english? As far as I'm aware, the date picker is based on the software. The date picker is software embed, different for Adobe Reader, Foxit or Power PDF.It should change based on the selected software language.

I think I understand your approach, and it is certainly a valid one. I am just concerned that it requires more work. I will try first using a dummy read-only button that will cover a larger area than the inner subform of the popup itself, and place the dummy button at the top of the popup. I have tried something else, that is on exit of the popup subform, set-focus on an element inside the popup, it seems like it is working, but UX not so good..

At this link I have a sample form which may or may not be what you need. https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:89265b19-1ffc-4903-bae1-380e012d1b59 Note: I turned field locking off for all signatures so that your approach works. You need to check if the open fields are conform with your signature policies. You basically make a copy of each signingBlock subform for every signer.I use submit by email for testing - that is the fastest to see if the logic works prior to subm...

If the content area on the second page starts higher than on the first page you could use 2 Master pages which have the content area and the headline matching. You can then use pagination to move to master page 2 from the second page on.

Hi there, to search for a specific value in a list box, simply have a loop iterate through each items and compare the displayed value to "Supplier Check Sheet"like the following:var boFoundValue = false; for (var i = 0; i < ListBox1.length; i++){ var strOneItem = ListBox1.getDisplayItem(i); if (strOneItem.indexOf("Supplier Check Sheet") > -1){ //If the string value is found in any displayed value from the listbox boFoundValue = true; } } //Now depending on the boolean value, you can disable digi...
