Hi PaulI took your hint and found out that the field was hidden in form ready, I made it 'invisible' instead of 'hidden' and it WORKED!!!Thank you for your help !

Hi PaulI only see the problem when I distribute the file. When I open the responses file, I can see all the other fields, except email. When I submit the distributed form with an entry in email field, this data is not collected in the respsonses file.Appreciate your help

HiThanks for reply.It is set to Normal. No data source is used. I have another file similar to this. I can see email in that response file but not in this. I have checked object properties. seem identical.

HiThank you for the reply.I would like to distribute this form to my colleagues within the same network. It would be nice to get the user's name automatically up when they start to fill up the form. Otherwise, they have to enter their full name.(this can lead to discrepancies when data is collected for monitoring purpose).Thanks once again.

HiI have put the code in the button's postSubmit event, I can't get any alert.I would like to do this to let the person know that he has submitted the form. Is there a way to submit just once, to refrain one from clicking the Submit button a number of times.Thank you.
