What is the easiest way to pull a report to see if a user has multiple profiles loaded in WF? - Workfront 08-07-2022
We discovered a possible issue with duplicate user profiles being added. This particular user was listed in the "Aaa - New User" home group, but then had another profile with all details and their correct department name listed as their home group and their report to info was all filled in correctly as well. We aren't sure how it happened, but want to make sure there aren't others.

I meant to say that I added the Manager Name custom field and it works great! Thanks again!

That is perfect! We already have a custom form attached to our profiles for the department name and it works great. I really do appreciate the help!

Re: How to use Calculated Field to show manager - Workfront 20-05-2022
Thank you Rich! This will definitely work for a column in the report. Can I also group by this column? My current report is grouped using a matrix grouping so I need this to be one of the groups.

How to use Calculated Field to show manager - Workfront 20-05-2022
I need to build a report showing the Manager of the person assigned to a task. I was trying to use a calculated field, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?

I would also be interested in a highlight reel on this topic. Thank you!

Re: Is there a way to set your Planned completion time to a default 5pm time Every issue we convert ti a project we have to manually set to 5pm, as all of our projects tasks cutoff of end of the day 5pm - Workfront 31-08-2021
Wow! So, for now it seems to be working. Something so simple, I hadn't thought of that. I'm going to keep testing to make sure, but it looks like it is working. Thank you so much! You never know when it may be the simple solution that could make all the difference!

@Kelly Fones‚ and @Dan Ingham‚ I agree. I checked all of our templates and they are set to As Soon As Possible, but the time still sets based on either the start of the project or when the previous task has been completed. It is causing tasks to show late when they were completed on the due date, just after the set time on the same day.

Did you find a solution to this? We are constantly having to manipulate tasks to set the time to the end of the day on the day it is due. There is a lot of manual work that should not be happening. I would love to know a good solution to this. We are using a template so our dates are set automatically by the predecessor, but the planned completion time defaults to the same time as we start the project. For example, if we start it at 2pm, it will be due in 5 days at 2pm, when in actuality, we hav...
