Hi - agreed - and I think this has been raised before. There is a setting in the Setup menu that allows you to prevent time being logged to a Completed project - having a radio button in the same menu but for a Task would be ideal. As a side note - removing the sharing permissions does work however...

Hi there - we have the same issue - all the time!. You can prevent people logging time to a Closed project - but not a closed task. So frustrating and there doesn't appear to be a workaround. Thanks

Hi Elizabeth - we would like this too as we have to close off month end. The work around is to bulk edit the start and/or end date of the weeks timesheets, but this can be prone to error. Having a setting against the timesheet profile itself would be great.

This makes perfect sense. We also operate across multiple regions. The rpoduct is a great one (no doubt about that) though there is definitely room for growth for multinationals, particularly around multi currency salary costs and project sharing as Dave suggests.
