Re: For the Love of Pets - Workfront 15-06-2020
These are my two office mates, they don't help anymore because they are bored with me being home now. Oh well. Still as cute as can be! Niko the destroyer, who is also very handsome, and Morticia the evil, who is just too darn cute.

Re: Does anyone have a workaround for utilizing a reviewer license for an ad hoc worker? - Workfront 13-04-2020
Our workaround utilizes updates. When the reviewer has completed the work (in our case this is usually a vendor with an extremely limited role in a project - not worth utilizing a license for), they post an update to notify the PM or person responsible for them. That person has a plan license and can complete (or update progress on) the assignment. I was confused by your statement that reviewers don't get notifications. They actually do, any update on a task assigned to them, they will get, just...

Removing a Chart from a Report - Workfront 29-01-2020
Hi all, Hopefully this is an easy question, but once you add a chart to a report, is there any way to REMOVE it? Yesterday I copied a report that at some point had chart settings input and could not remove it. This was an issue because I wanted to remove the grouping, but the report would not let me save because removing the grouping broke the chart. The chart I neither want nor need. AUGH! {insert Charlie Brown gif here} Alison Wells Community Medical Centers

Re: Blocking Time Weekly? - Workfront 15-11-2019
We actually do this. In our environment we have a "support" project that has tasks for each person created each year. The task start/stop dates are 1/1-12/31 and the planned hours are a percentage of 2080 as determined by management. This task then shows on the timesheet and can be logged against for the entire year. In your case, if you want 2 hours a week, you would probably give each task 104 planned hours (for the 52 weeks in a year), less anything you want to pre-account for like 2 weeks va...

Allow File System Paths to be Hyperlinked, Not Just URLs - Workfront 05-11-2019
The ability to click a link and access an internal organization file system path would be extremely useful to our organization. Not all documents we want to reference in a project are on Sharepoint (or another URL based source). Currently we include file paths, but you have to copy and paste rather than simply clicking them.

Re: Data "Hygiene" report - Workfront 31-10-2019
We do a little of this, primarily with Projects because of the data they need to have to support accurate reporting. I have a New Projects Report Audit Version that is automatically sent to me each Monday. It lists all of the projects created during the past week and a handful of key fields/data elements that need to be there. In our case, those are fields like Company, a couple of custom form fields, and whether another custom form exists on the project. I've used that report to compliment user...

Re: Adding Tasks to Project in Bulk - Workfront 25-10-2019
I would recommend creating a template of the tasks you want to add. You still can't do a bulk edit unfortunately, but clicking project actions, attach template is easier (I think) than doing a copy to on tasks, especially if there are many of them. Re: Make Standard Project Field Mandatory for New Projects - Workfront 23-10-2019
Is there a way to set a default custom form on a project? Without using a template I mean? We have this same issue, and my problem is people don't use templates to create their projects. If they used the template, the company field would already be populated (along with a bunch of other settings we want). Alison Wells, MBA Senior Business Analyst Corporate Information Systems Business Systems Group Community Administrative Support Building (CASB) 2530 Divisadero St, Fresno, CA 93721 Office: (559...
