We need to be able to edit Currency on a project once work has begun.
Currently, once currency is entered on a project and work has begun it
isn't possible to edit. There are times when a user may enter the wrong
currency or the currency changes. The only current option is to
completely start over and this option won't allow you to bring over
actual revenue previously recorded.
Hi Leslie, Yes, I would set them up as you described: UK_Producers,

As a Global company, we have clients all over the world. When trying to
add currencies to our system, there is not a complete list of
currencies. In particular, 2 of the currencies our company needs added
as soon as possible is Emirati Dirham (AED) and Slovak Koruna (SKK). Is
there a way to make this happen?
When entering currency in the system, the exchange rates do not adjust
automatically. It is currently up to each project owner or system
administrator to update based on the rate of the day. As a global
company, we work with clients all over the world and have hundreds of
projects in the system. While we would like to use the finance portion
of the system, it makes no sense that a user has to check the market
daily for numerous projects and adjust the exchange rates manually to
get accurate reve...
OMGpleaseThankYouYes.The workaround of putting all the vendor
information as user info in WF (even though those contacts won't use the
system) is really a non-starter because of the chaos and clutter. This is
not the only need WF has for little sub-databases of project/process
information as well as the cascading/hierarchical fields that would pair
nicely with them (select company, which then allows sub-select of
contact, which then auto-populates contact information).WF should look
at this as an...
Following as I also have this requirement. My colleague has added a
custom field called Remaining Hours as a column to the project landing
page to display the time left in hours but it doesn't auto refresh - we
wanted to be able to display a burn down type chart for our users so
this hasn't been possible for me to do so far. I believe though that
this could be a possibility when the new User Experience is available -
I seem to recall from LEAP a section on the right where you can display
charts ...
We have several instances where users have selected incorrect queue
topic or topic group on their requests. Currently, there is no way for
the user or Admin to correct this error. Even if the user re-enters the
request with the correct information, there is no way to attach the
corrected request to the project to replace the incorrect one. There
should an option for users to go back and select the appropriate
information if they make a mistake.
I recently had to create nearly identical copies of the same dropdown
list, and I too was hoping for a shortcut. Unfortunately there is not
yet a copy option. I ended up using a Kickstart import to create the
field. Kickstarts take some orienting to get used to, though. Good luck!
