How to not restart from beginning stages with automated workflows when adding new version - Workfront 05-08-2021
I feel like this is a basic question, but we are having an issue regarding adding new proofs. We have just implemented automated workflows and every time a person adds a new proof, the workflows starts from the beginning stage when in reality we only want the current or next stage in the process to be notified of the new version. Is the solution just un-checking the "notify users via email" option when adding the new version? Or is there another way to do it? I feel like the answer is probably v...

You can't have more than one person on the routing workflow. That's something that's on the roadmap for Workfront though.

Hi - I think you might have a document approval instead of a Proof Approval on the document. If you are seeing approvals needed in the document details, that is not a proof approval and so is different. I'm not an expert on document approvals as we have never used them (just proof), but I do not believe they carry over when you do a new version. I'd definitely put a ticket into support and ask if they can do a zoom meeting with you so you can show them everything and I bet that is the issue.
