  • You can have those fields you care about automatically tracked in Updates by marking the "Display field changes in update feeds" per field on the custom form, BUT those automatic updates only show the New value. #sad

  • Good morning,I'm investigating the feasibility of triggering a post-production FLO that would only execute when a project is Archived. Idea was to have a scheduled FLO on Project Update, but I definitely don't want to run this for each and every Project Update. Should only run this FLO when a Proj...

  • I thought for sure I had submitted this exact Idea months ago. I guess it never posted. :|My business pushes 200-300 projects a month through the system and resource managers can't make allocations effectively across that many projects. They organize work / capacity / budget at the Program level ...

  • I have a browser extension that a user is using to maintain context of the 'piece' they're working on in Workfront. It relies on snagging the ID (of the project, task or issue) from the active page's address. With the new UX, the address follows a different format and so the extension isn't working ...

  • Thanks Dan - I'm set up like your second option with the value saved as a number. I was fearing the nested IF/CONTAINS. Makes it a bit more difficult to add options to the selectable list. I'll just need to remember to add it to the list and the IF/CONTAINS calculation as well. :( Rick MacDuffie Sym...

  • Nifty! I'm working on a custom form that will be used to assess a requests relevance / priority. In that custom form I need to have several fields that collect multi-select values that get stored as numbers. Something like: What product requires this piece? Product A is equivalent to 5 points Pro...

  • Thanks Doug. I actually thought of trying that and was immediately presented with a lovely "There are gaps or overlapping dates created by the highlighted date ranges." error/warning. Turns out that doesn't prevent you from saving the custom quarters and does yield the expected range. Thanks for get...

  • Happy Holidays All! I'm investigating the use of custom quarters to define fiscal years. My business owners have created several portfolios to organize their work by fiscal year (eg. 2018 Portfolio X, 2019 Portfolio X & 2020 Portfolio X). This presents all sorts of issues as each portfolio duplicate...

  • Good morning Folks, I have a bit of an odd question for you. I've heard a half-dozen complaints from my users about Workfront filenames getting overwritten when they drag/drop a new version of a file on top of the existing file. The scenario: Original Workfront filename on local system: ThePiece.pdf...

  • Are you wanting to store this as a custom expression or simply calculate it in a view/report? If you just need a view, you could drop all three fields in the view, edit each of them in textmode and use sharecol to smash them all together. Quick example: column.8.displayname=Combined 3 column.8.linke...
