Re: Form submitting even though required fields are empty - Adobe LiveCycle 04-11-2014
I experienced a similar issue with one of my forms but my issue was my code associated with my submit button. I had validation script and a script to email the form as xml in the same event.I added a hidden button to hold the submit script and kept the validation on the visible button. If validation passes, it "clicks" the hidden button. If not, focus set on the first empty manadatory field.

Re: Validation / Reset Functions, easy to manipulate and to change Forms!!!! - Adobe LiveCycle 17-09-2014
Hi Mag,I'm back with another problem. I've been honing your sample script into a couple of forms of mine. Recently, the front office folks have made several changes to theit original which I now need to incorporate into my form. When I was informed they had changes coming down, I tabled my work on the form. Well, now that I have thier changes, I went to print out what I currently have so I can do a side by side compare and mark up the changes I need to do.....and found the form wont print.I keep ...

Re: data connection newbie - Adobe LiveCycle 02-09-2014
OK. I figured out how to actually connect the form to my access database. My db has only 2 test records at the moment.I want the form to show a page for each record in the database when I open it. I figured this would be done by making the page repeatable in a flowed subform.I can view the first record but that is all that displays when I preview. I've tried various combinations of settings but cant seem to get each record to show on the preview. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to get my ...

data connection newbie - Adobe LiveCycle 28-08-2014
Got a quick question regarding connecting a form created in LC ES2 to a spreadsheet or access db.I've been asked to create a form that can be used to produce pdf copies of 1099's for our imaging system. The data we get from our vender is in a giant text file which they apparently drive thought their printers using custom paper with all the graphic elements already on it.It takes alot of manpower to physically scan those paper copies into the image system. If we could produce a large pdf file wit...

Script object question - Adobe LiveCycle 27-08-2014
Hi all,I have a formcalc script to validate a group of checkboxes but have several groups of these to validate in a single form.So I was thinking it might help to make it a script object and call it rather than copy/edit the same script to an event in each subform containing the checkbox group.Well, it apprears that you cant change the language to formcalc in the script object. Is that correct or is there some setting or trick I'm missing in order to do this? Thanks!
