Re: Can't see "Enforce strict scoping rules" - Adobe LiveCycle 01-06-2016
Thank you so much for posting this! I'm working on a form that I didn't design, and had no idea how or why this was off, or where to locate it. I search Adobe forums and had an answer in 1 minute because of your post! Thanks again!

Form Becomes xml on 2nd Submit - Adobe LiveCycle 21-05-2015
Greetings,I've run into an issue with a Livecycle form that has multiple people interacting with it.I have a Submit button that sends the PDF to a specific department email address. The department loads the form to Sharepoint 2013. After that another person access the form from Sharepoint, completes another area of the form and presses the Submit button. However the email that is generated now has an xml file, not a PDF.Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone have an explanation/solution?Tha...

Re: Hide and Show Subforms not hidden - Adobe LiveCycle 13-11-2014
I think I found the solution...On the Subform Object tab, go to the Subform tab.Under the Presence option select Hidden.I knew it was something simple, but it's been a little while since working in Livecycle.

Hide and Show Subforms not hidden - Adobe LiveCycle 13-11-2014
Good Morning,It's been months since I've worked in LiveCycle, so I know that I'm missing something simple on this form.In LiveCycle Designer ES4 I have a form with check boxes that trigger subforms to appear when checked.I used Action Builder to to create these simple rules Condition: "When check box CopyMachine is clicked" (Check box name)Result: "Set Visibility of CopyMachineChoice to visible" (Subform name)However on the PDF all the subforms are appearing. What am I forgetting? And do I need to...

Re: Week End Date calculates dates in table issues - Adobe LiveCycle 17-04-2014
Well, I never got an answer from the forum here, but to help out others - here is what I did:This was all done in FormCalc. The object WeekEndDate Date/Time Field has a set pattern date{MM/DD/YYYY} in the Object Field Pattern in LiveCycle.BUT, the Scripting required the pattern to be YYYY-MM-DDWhy? I have no flipping clue. It won't work any other way for me.Also this item requires a Saturday Date to be chosen. Days of the week are designated by numbers (Sunday = 1, Monday = 2, etc.)The line <>7 m...

Re: Dynamic Form include superfulous fonts - Adobe LiveCycle 10-03-2014
Things get "caught up" sometimes in LiveCycle or buried in the coding... because LiveCycle is fun like that. In LiveCycle go to XML Source view, and do a Replace (Ctrl H) to search and replace the font you want removed ("Arial") with the font you prefer ("Myriad Pro").I think this is the easiest way to eliminate renegade fonts.Hope this helps,-Michelle

Re: How to create a adobe ebook using livecycle desinger ES3 version? - Adobe LiveCycle 10-03-2014
LiveCycle Designer is used for designing Forms, not eBooks. The requirements of designing a book (ebook or otherwise) are not going to be meet by LiveCycle. You need functions like pagination and indexing. A better choice would be to use InDesign, or even a word processor like Microsoft Word, and convert to PDF when finished. You can read more about eBooks and the Adobe Digitial Publishing Platforms here: http://www.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/ebook/At the bottom of this webpage are Resources whic...

Re: How do I white-out or hide existing printing on a document? RUSH - Adobe LiveCycle 10-03-2014
If this is just a quick fix to get the form filled try this:Change the Field FIll colors to White, and that will blot out the text underneath. In LiveCycle you can also create Rectangles (Change Fill and Border to White), to block out other text, lines, etc. Look on the Object tabIn Adobe Acrobat Professional the fields can be changed to White as well, and Acrobat Pro is alot simplier than LiveCycle, but sometimes we make do in a pinch so I totally get it. Good Luck!
