Has anyone created a source connection between Experience Platform and AWS using AWS PrivateLink (a VPC service)? I know it is available in Commerce, but I wanted to know if there was a way to do the same with AEP.
So far, the only approach that may be feasible is to set up a reverse proxy in a cloud service (such as AWS or Azure) to the client's SQL Server database. Then I should be able to connect the SQL Server connector to the reverse proxy as the endpoint.
Ugh. no not the correct reply.
In my test sandbox I do not have the "Profile-Snapshot..." dataset either.
I thought perhaps having two merge polices with the same name was an issue. Not sure that matters. We see the merge data when browsing the profiles, just no summary data for the dashboard....
Thanks Danny. No there is no "Profile-Snapshot..." dataset. We have a segment process running later and will see what happens tomorrow. I just have to think there is a simple detail I missed. Like maybe in an API call mistakenly set a flag to disable the dashboard.
Ingested data into AEP production sandbox. Datasets and schemas enabled for profile. Identity stitching work in test sandbox. Three merge policies exist. After two days the profile dashboard shows no data or even empty widgets. Message is there is no data loaded into the profiles. However, I c...
I have a series of segments that need to be refreshed each day after batch data loading is completed. Some of the segments have resolved to be Streaming, some resolved to be Batch, and some resolved to be Edge. How can I force them to all be batch? Updating in real-time (or near) is not required.
Is there a way to include a string value such as "ABCD" when selecting attributes when activating a segment to a destination? I have a need to create a one-time use of data related to a segment. I would rather not have to alter the data model and use query service to update all the records in scop...
Looking for any examples or lessons people have ingesting data directly into AEP from AEM sites or web apps using Web SDK specifically using encryption on the page and ensuring the data is correctly decrypted once it lands in AEP.
