Before 6/17/2021, full page URL greater than 255 char is available in
Data Warehouse reports. However, when all report suites were updated to
have Same-as-SiteCatalyst VISTA Processing set to ON since that date,
the Page URL dimension in data warehouse is now truncated to 255 char.
To have no character limit for the Page URL dimension in Data Warehouse
is important because this is the only place where full page URL is
available in reporting and I have many page URLs that are super long.
The short answer is that full page URL with no character limit was
available in data warehouse prior to 6/17/21. Below is the full answer
from Customer Care: From June 17, 2021, onward all report suites were
updated to have Same-as-SiteCatalyst VISTA Processing set to ON in a
phased manner. This change impacts Data Warehouse reporting by

I understand that you have to setup an eVar or prop to capture page URL
in Analytics. However, there is character limits on eVar and props and
my page URLs could be super long. (I've already captured page names, but
I need full length page URL as well). Isn't full Page URL supposed to be
available in data warehouse without character limits? I can't find any
adobe documentation on this point. I had a data warehouse report that
used to have full page URL but that same report no longer has full pag...
Do you mean that Page URL in data warehouse would capture URLs longer
than 255 bytes? I recently run a report from data warehouse, but all are
cut off at 255 using the out of the box Page URL dimension. Is that
@AtulSingh Here is the report for the same time period. You can see that
there were 278k visits with 221k Hit Depth1 occurrences, and it is not
due to the cut-off time issue. Shouldn't 278k visits results in 278k Hit
Depth 1 occurrences?
Thanks a lot for the above. I haven't thought of the possibility of
cut-off time, but I can certainly understand your point. Is there other
possible conditions? 2% of my pageview traffic occurs before the
midnight hour. However, only 79% of my visits have Hit Depth 1.
