Re: How to create segment to find visitors who visited the site only thrice? - Adobe Analytics 20-04-2022
For some reason my previous answer is not showing up anymore. If you are looking for a specific page instead of the whole website, you can utilize a Sequential Segment that includes Visitors who have opened the page thrice but excludes Visitors who have been to the page four times. Something like:

Re: Change in Marketing Channel Manager / Override Last-Touch Channel & Reporting Impact - Adobe Analytics 19-04-2022
Historical data will not be impacted by this change. Marketing Channel logic runs when the data is collected and can't be changed afterwards.

Allow Count Distinct for Dimensions in Histogram Visualization - Adobe Analytics 19-04-2022
Description - Today, we can utilize the Histogram Visualization in Workspace with any event. Under the hood it creates a lot of Segments, which is also super helpful when we need those Segments for other use cases. However, a lot of engagement use cases would largely benefit from using the Count Distinct function in Segments. Some simple example could be:How many different pages do users view in a Visit? How many Marketing Channels do Visitors use in a month?(for CJA) How many different devices d...

Re: Date calculation functions - Adobe Analytics 19-04-2022
That sounds like a cool session to watch You could use the Count Distinct function to count the number of days as described here: https://www.fullstackanalyst.io/blog/adobe-analytics/cool-approximate-count-distinct-use-cases-adobe-analytics-tips/?r=exlThose counts will be approximate, so slightly off from the real value.

Re: Calculated Dimensions - Adobe Analytics 08-04-2022
Just to add some possible approaches:Case 1 could also be covered using Classifications and the Classification Rule Builder.Case 2, depending on the setup, could also be done through Classification Rule Builder (I described an approach here https://www.fullstackanalyst.io/blog/adobe-analytics/five-awesome-adobe-analytics-classification-use-cases/)

Re: Organizations that use multiple languages - feedback requested! - Adobe Analytics 22-03-2022
We are severely affected by this as a global company. We can pretty much only use the numeric event id because of this and it's not feasible to analyze usage of, for example, specific Workspace Projects. But even in my previous companies with just a single language I was surprised to find the logs in the user's language. From my experience, also because of some, well, "creative" localization, there will always be some users who will use the English interface and thereby create additional line ite...

Allow segment creation from filtered tables in Analysis Workspace - Adobe Analytics 10-02-2022
Description When using Analysis Workspace, one key workflow of my users is the creation of Segments from filtered Freeform tables. While we can use the super efficient workflow of right-clicking a selection of items from a table, we can't do the same with the summary row of a table:However, being able to create Segments from those rows would be highly useful. Filters and breakdowns defined for those rows could automatically be used for the segment definition. In the screenshot above, right-click...

Re: Introduce description field for Rules and Data Elements in Launch - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 20-01-2022
Thank you for the suggestion @Alexis_Cazes_. Naming conventions are a good practice and self-documentation is a nice goal in theory, but both are simply insufficient in reality. Especially in big and diverse teams working with both old and new implementations, names are not enough. This is especially true in tag management, where not every user has or needs a background in development. It's similar to programming: Naming a variable clearly is a good start but comments and things like JSDoc exist ...

Re: User-defined, referable constants - Adobe Analytics 29-11-2021
@jen_lasser As long as I could use them in segments and metrics, as well as share and manage them, I don't mind if they are called Targets. I feel like my approach would be a bit more universal (Targets would be a subset of Constants) but I have no preference as to what they would be called

User-defined, referable constants - Adobe Analytics 29-11-2021
Description -In Analysis Workspace, users may want to define constant values (like a yearly sales goal or revenue-per-order threshold) and use them in multiple places, like multiple projects, segments, or calculated metrics. However, the only current way to achieve this is through calculated metrics, which come with a bunch of disadvantages:They can't be used in segmentsIf they are used in other calculated metrics, they are copied instead of referenced. Therefore, changes to the original metric ...
