There error is: [ERROR] ValidationViolation: "jackrabbit-packagetype: Package of type 'APPLICATION' is not supposed to contain includes/excludes below any of its filters!", filePath=META-INF\vault\filter.xml So i think you need to explicitly name your index definition node to include, so far example: Rather than using the include/excludes under the filter (which allow your wild cards) - try naming your indexes explicitly.

I'm also facing this content modified response for my post request when hit from external source. On blocking the post method for the content node in the dispatcher filter, I get a 404 for the page if the page is not cached. However, if the page is already cached and then when a post call to the same page is made, I receive a 200 with content from cache being served inspite the dispatcher filter rejecting the post request. Can someone help on this.

Yes - you must deploy OSGi configurations to AEM as a Cloud Service via OSGi configuration files that are part of your AEM Project (ideally in the ui.config Maven sub-project)

@parag_dalal You can simply create a Sling servlet and then can use power of Sling API (JCR API will also work, wink) CRUD operation to move your resources from one place to another. It should be quick and reliable. https://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/sling-api-crud-support.html

Can you provide more detail on what youre trying to achieve? I dont understand what "timeout" youre referring to, and how/why a file format would influence it's value. This simply sounds like a custom class.

You must have a rewrite file for your vhost which will be located under rewrites folder. You can add it there and it should take care of it.

Few Naming Convention Tips: No Spaces in Asset names.Names should be all lower case.No Underscores ( _ ), only hyphens ( - )Only use characters in this set (allowed characters) for the file name and the extension: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789-No trailing spaces or hyphens.Don’t use repeating hyphens, i.e. there should never be 2 or more hyphens one after the other.Use the period character “.” only once. Hi David,Yes, you are right. The etc.clientlibs and few other folders were not explicitly marked as allowed in the dispatcher.any file. I also had to make modification to the web.config to match a specific URL that can be re-written/redirected to a URL that can point to the form in the Publisher. Thanks,Leena

I recommend using the OOTB tool if it satisfies your use-case (you can even do a metadata export of assets to "baseline" your CSV file, and update that). Nice thing about OOTB is if something doesn't work, you can log a Support issue and Adobe will take care of it 🙂 To be clear though, Metadata Import doesn't import the 3TB of assets, so I guess that # isnt really important for metadata update, more the # of assets being updated.

EDIT: I just realized you werent asking about AEM Sites .. im in the Assets community afterall!! There isn't a natural hook to at GTM to the AEM Assets *authoring* experience. I think you would have to either: 1) Try to find all an OOTB clientlib category that is loaded "everywhere" in the authoring experience, make your own clientlib w/ a JS that includes your GTM snippet, and mark that clientlib with that ubiquitous clientlib category. That way your GTM would get pulled in whenever the product...

I know that 6.5 still supports classic UI, however it's my understanding that Classic UI will be going away, and my co-workers have to apply tags in the Touch UI.

HiI am unable to hide some actions from the action bar when I select an asset and click on its properties. For example, quick publication, manage publication etc. I am able to hide it when the asset is selected by going to this path("/libs/dam/gui/content/assets/jcr:content/actions/selection/quickpublish") and create and overlay, but when I click on its properties, they are appearing their. Thanks in advance!

If have a (reasonably 🙂) finite number of inputs producing a (reasonably) finite number of permutations of JSON - you could also look at using HTTP Cache [1] to cache the entire JSON output in AEM memory and serve it from there. Hi @Mounikasri If you are trying to include some metadata HTL script across all the pages for any website, please overlay your page template (head.html) file where all the matadata for a page are defined. Now you can create another HTL file with the required HTL script and include the file in the path at the desired location, preferrably after the metatags.${page.title}${page.brandSlug ? ' | ' : ''}${page.brandSlug}<-- Your file/custom meta script should go here -->This will ensure all the pages ...

@Adilmo i dont recommend trying to surface anything other dam:Asset nodes with Asset Share Commons. There is *alot* of plumbing of that assumes results themselves as well as the "target" of results (when you click on a result, what you're taken to) is a dam:Asset. Many, many, many things will break if you try to adjust this paradigm - and you'll have to rip out the guts of Asset Share Commons to get it even close to working. This is also covered here: https://adobe-marketing-cloud.github.io/asse...

Have you tried using AEM Mock's AemContext to create mock sling request context? I highly, highly recommend using AEM Mocks when possible rather than mocking out everything yourself. These sorts of problems should go away, and also lets you write more natural tests. https://wcm.io/testing/aem-mock/usage.html

Yes - the wcmmode code will work when you deploy it to your live site on whatever domain. The wcmmode on AEM Publish is always "disabled". Think of it this way, AEM uses "wcmmode = disabled" when the page should be rendered without all the WCM (Web Content Management) bells and whistles that are used by authors to author the content.
