Please understand this is for a STATIC form. If you create a dropdown list and put in the xfa.host.openList("$"); line in change or click it will just open and close quickly. The solution I made for whatever reasons works... try it out to see.Static Dropdown List Radzmar, the "This.Node" you are questioning gives the ability to select all text on re-enter (undocumented feature I discovered) To follow up with this: So with using (this.Node) it is done by choice as to make it cleaner looking... Hello again, I have noticed a lot of people ask questions on how to calculate percentages easily and correctly. I recently made an invoice template that if you want to offer a discount - say 5% or 37% of the subtotal i will quickly calculate it. Subtotal is calculated (Just a FormCalc calculation of line item totals). Discount is editable, not calculated. Both are set to display currency. I have 3 fields (Numeric)Subtotal, Discount & DiscountPercent CHANGE EVENT- DiscountPercent (2 digits, no de...

I am not sure what exactly you are trying to do without an example. Would you be able to share a form with only the few fields you need changed and perhaps I can come up with a solution? I assume that its a rich text field that is bound to a database string that needs to be converted in to a proper url format then display the new info it acquires?

Hi everyone, so a while back I remembered looking for the ability to open drop-down lists on enter / click and have auto complete in a STATIC form. This behavior was thought to be impossible by design and many have searched for the function to no avail. I was upset enough at this and came up with an actual solution. Sometimes there is a need to create a static form - I have one which is filled out by me (all fields accessible), then emailed to customer (only some fields accessible), then they fi...

Hi there everyone, So I have noticed that people for a long time have been searching for a way to print only a specific page in a PDF with a button and there were no answers, until now (at least I have noticed that by doing Google searches, community searches so on). So I made a fix with a short line of code (in bold below). I use this button in an invoice book I made that is dynamic (additional pages and invoice lines so on....) Here is the example: JavaScript, Click event var pp = event.target...
