Ideally it would remember the last five time ranges. Last three would be minimum for me.

Remember recent time ranges used

Description - It would be handy if Adobe Analytics would remember the previous date ranges I've used when running a report - specific to that report. Much like Google remembers your previous searches and suggest them. Why is this feature important to you - I run custom date ranges back and forth all the time, and these vary according to business needs. They are too ephemeral to create and save a custom date range. I just need to be able to retrieve recently used time ranges to compare data etc w...

Adobe Analytics Login process - Very bad
Avatar

It is beyond me how difficult the login process can be. I've recorded my failed login attempts today and published into an unlisted YouTube video: I'm using the most vanilla setup, except that maybe it's in MacOS: Chrome, no weird add-ons, no network filtering or blocking. And yet, the login process is that cumbersome, with links pointing to all sorts of redirects that make my head explode. These are the URLs I can see involved in this process: https://youtu.be/P8b8bG6-1LU - https://www3.an.adob...

Firefox 79 Aug 2020 - ETP 2.0 might block most tracking. Confirmed?

Firefox is releasing a pretty aggressive tracking block with ETP 2.0 https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2020/08/04/firefox-79-includes-protections-against-redirect-tracking/ From what I gather, they will eliminate all tracking cookies every 24hs. I highly suspect this will also affect any Adobe cookie, regardless if they are first-party or third-party. "When you first visit a redirect tracker it can store a unique identifier in its cookies. Any redirects to that tracker during the 24 hour window ...

Transform search filter into a segment
Avatar

If I build an advanced search filter, and want to change the report structure/hierarchy, I need to redo these filters. Advanced filters are nice for on-the-fly analysis, but sometimes they prove their worth in keeping. Or just because you would like to take the search filter further in an analysis. Being able to save it as a segment and apply it to the panel would be an amazing time saving.

Phasing out Omniture redirection

I'm sure there's good reason why the login on https://experiencecloud.adobe.com points to https://sc3.omniture.com/spa/index.html due to legacy factors. I was just wondering how far in the future this will remain the case. I often get redirection issues from different browsers and the whole login setup due to this is frankly annoying and troublesome often.

I find it annoying that the request automatically collapses if I leave the application for a moment. I'd like it to keep the state I've left it in, as long as the window remains open.

OK, that sounds interesting. OK, I found out how to edit the percentages. Need to make sense of the functions now. Greater than seems to only compare two different metrics. Need to investigate more.

Segment on percentages
Avatar

Is there a way to segment on percentage values? Use case: I have a column with visits. I right click on it and choose Compare time periods -> prior month. As a consequence a third column appears automatically, alongside the new period compare column, showing the percentage change in the metric over the period. I would like to segment the table data by only showing rows in which the percentage change has been greater than 30%. How can I accomplish that?

Allow panel indentation

I would like to create sub panels to better organize information. Collapsing panels is an important feature to me to allow a clear overview of the reports available. Creating a sub-panel under a main panel would also help in better structuring reports.

I'd like to know further possibilities for tracking PDF usage beyond downloads. As you can see in this article, it is possible to do so on Google Analytics https://www.sixthcitymarketing.com/2018/01/26/track-pdfs-in-google-analytics/ For example:The PDF’s page viewsUnique page viewsAverage time on pageBounce rateLinks to the PDFOrigin of these linksIs this available in Adobe Analytics too?

Report structure consistent

Is it possible in Workspace to keep a drilldown configured for a table persistent to all rows? I can apply a drilldown to all the rows in my table currently, but if I change dates or for any other reason new rows appear, the drilldown is not applied to the new row(s). I want the drilldown config to apply to all rows, even new ones that appear in the future (e.g. a new page is created on my website, and I want that page also to be drilldown by time on page). Is that possible?

I'm trying to create a segment of users who, within the same visit took an X number of actions. Is this possible?I have an unique identifier for each user. So, for example: a segment for users who downloaded 3 PDFs within the same visit.

Archive and folder for projects

I miss being able to archive projects in Workspace which I know I won't be needing in the foreseeable future, but might need again later on. Sometimes projects are complex and time consuming to create, so archiving them for possible later use would be helpful. Also, as projects grow, tags and title are not enough to keep them organized. Folders in my view would be a great solution to this problem. For example: Marketing projects, Performance projects, Development projects. These are arbitrary na...

Improvement for segment creation workflow
Avatar

For more complex segments, I sometimes need to create multiple rows of the same dimension and search criteria. Even when using "contains any of" and pipe delimiters. It would be handy if the workflow for segment creation would allow easy duplication of a dimension. For example, right click, duplicate this criteria. It would be important to preserve all of the settings, much like when duplicating a panel in Workspace. Edit: I know it's possible to click CTRL + drag the dimension, but I've only le...
