Re: Utilize Individual Profile schema attributes in JO Journey - Journey Orchestration 04-07-2022
Hi @kartheek_a ,When you select event type as 'Rule Based' you must select an event schema and its field on which you want to trigger a journey. This indicates, throughout the journey you only can make use of fields which are part of same event schema. It means one can't use other event schema fields in journey. However you can use profile schema fields regardless of which schema they belongs to in journey for personalization. Thanks to union of profile schema feature. Hope this helps

Re: connect Journey Orchestration to Adobe Target - Adobe Experience Platform 24-05-2021
Technically, you could use the "Update Profile" action in JO to put the user into the segment you created by updating the fields that would qualify the person into the segment. See update profile documentation here -Jumping from one journey to another | Adobe Journey Orchestration. The timing of this segment realization follows the standard segment realization SLA's defined today and will play into your expectations for experience delivery.
