OK, so your schema is expecting an array of data, but only a single string value was sent...    One of the annoying things about the schema is not being able to change it later... if you don't need an array, you may have to create a new item to receive your string value...

While I don't know what Eloqua is, you will never match data between different systems 100% since they all work differently.   Things to keep in mind is what attribution are each tool using, and what (if any) information does your third party have access to (or rather what doesn't it have access to)...
