There could be some differences due to systemic differences, e.g. the way bots are identified, users' ad blockers, etc. A 6% difference looks tolerable. More importantly, the pageview trends from both AA and GA should match.

Also, check your implementation for the "Site Section" dimension. Depending on how the larger site is structured, that may have what you need already. If not, +1 to @Andrey_Osadchuk and @mikeetiuPH 's approaches.

From what I know, consent is needed before analytics tracking can be implemented (i.e. First-Party analytics). This means that in your privacy policy, make sure to work with your legal team to have a good and clear statement around the CRM ID tracking and tie-up thing you are doing. I suggest that you work with your legal team to determine what's the best thing to do to comply. When it comes to data privacy, technologists usually just get guidance from the legal experts on what is best to doPls....

Create an eVar and pass it on your custom link call. One thing I realized then is that page has a 100-character limit and eVar has 255 (not sure if that is still accurate). What I did then is implemented a character limit to the eVar via JS so that pageName and eVar will always be a match....

There are instances wherein we are just adding smart crops and we want that to be available across all assets. If we do that, we need to re-process everything. The problem with that though is we can't easily do that since it will extract embedded metadata again from the assets and override the values we added like title and description and it will also re-run smart tagging which means, the smart tags we have removed may potentially come back

@hamidk92094312 - we just need a way to indicate where the different smart crops should be used. Like for example, there are multiple smart crops and each of those smart crops is used for specific channels and modules. Without an information description, it's hard for our users to know where they should be used unless they use a cheat sheet. It will be good if we can display descriptions for the smart crops

@hamidk92094312 - we can't. Coz it's always all or nothing. We cannot target a specific metadata field in the ACL

Hi @hamidk92094312 - It covers use cases where AEM assets will be used as an enterprise DAM wherein the DAM and Sites are two different instances. For enterprise DAMs, the publishing of assets should be done in the Sites instance, not in the DAM. Dynamic Media though makes sense but the publishing action to a publish server is not given that the website will be in another instance.

Hi @mikeetiuPH I understand you are referring to this feature in Dynamic Media. Please note that currently the idea section of the community takes improvement requests for AEM core packages. Please let me know if my understanding is correct.

Currently, in the experience cloud extension, we cannot prevent everest cookies from dropping without blocking ECID. We are not 100% sure how they are tied up to each other. Since there are a lot of data privacy regulations now, I think it will be best to have controls over all Adobe cookies individually.

To find the last version that was in production or in a library, you can go into the Publishing tab, open a library or create a new one, then in the Add Resource drawer you find the object in question and manually click through the versions until you see an indicator that it is in prod or in a library that you know has been tested.
