I'll answer my own question as it got worked out eventually. It seems that the service-user+keystore package that I created in the lower environments didn't import properly into the Prod environment Author due to security checks. In the end, I created the system user manually using crx/explorer/index.jsp in the Prod Author environment, uploaded the keystore file (from security/users.html) , made sure /home/users/system/blah... directory was ticked for all permissions incl replications. (useradmin...

Hi folks,On the Author instance in the Stage environment, I created a Service User and added a Keystore that I created via open_ssl.I used the ACL Packager program to build a package with my service user principaland its permissions and keystore. I then replicated the package to the publish servers and it all worked fine. However when I came to import the package on the Prod environment Author, Iwas not so successful. From the useradmin screen, it looked fine. The system user was there with all ...

Hi folks,Just wondering if anyone tried this in 6.5. I wanted to use bcprov-jdk15on and bcpkix-jdk15on.I read here that I have to add the jars into in jre/lib/ext and add BouncyCastle as a provider in java security properties.I also added each package that I wanted into sling.properties, (no wildcards), in org.osgi.framework.system.packages.extraI thought that AEM would just accept them then. config.output.libraryTarget = 'umd';config.externals = { 'react': { root: 'React', commonjs2: 'react', commonjs: 'react', amd: 'react' }, 'react-dom': { root: 'ReactDOM', commonjs2: 'react-dom', commonjs: 'react-dom', amd: 'react-dom' } }; return config ; Then I included an umd version of react.js and react-dom.js in a new clientlib. I made the other clientlibs dependent on it. Now my react and react-dom code is not repeated when I have multiple react components on the page.

Hi, I found a way of doing what I wanted built on the npm plugin that you have above, "rescript". First I stop the chunking as you suggest. Then I added this to the ..rescriptsrc.js

OK. thanks. I get you now. We just have very simple static templates which don't have any components or component logic. You are putting the "div" with react id into the template whereas I was putting it into a component to be placed in a column control.

Thanks for that. I take it that either you have ejected the CRA or you are using some extra plugin that allows you to edit the webpack.config.js. Then you include the css in the component ( and the js I assume at the end of the component?). I can try this. Is it o.k. to put CSS into a though?, I guess it works for you!. Thanks. I will try it out.

Hi folks,I am integrating a bunch of different React CRAs into an AEM Page template. I am not using the "SPA Editor". I'm just integrating them directly with custom components, but I am using the very handy aem-clientlib-generator npm plugin to create the clientlibs from "build/static" and copy them into my AEM codebase. I looked at the JS for each CRA and I see that the default CRA webpack configuration has "chunked" the JS. There is one file called "main..chunk.js", one called "runtime-main..j...

Thanks Brian. That is great info. Do you know of an on-line example of a React component included in an AEM page as above ? I'm not currently interested in trying out the SPA Editor. All demos I've found are for that. tnx. Fiona

Hi folks,I want to include a react app in a simple component in a static template page. I found the aem-clientlib-generator npm plugin to create an AEM clientlib and that works fine. So after that, I include the clientlib in the page and put nothing but the SPA "root" id in a in the component sightly file ? Am I overlooking anything ?I have no interest in "editing" the component at this time so I've no interest in the Editable SPA. thxFiona

Hi folks, We have static templates and authors do the "allowed components" design via Design Mode. (We can also build and download the designs via /etc/designs/ filter.) They complain that sometimes they have to redo parts of the "allowed components", as the configuration disappears, possibly when the components change, like getting a new Component Group. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before.? Another possibility is to do the "allowed components" Design via an exported package of /etc/de...

hi folks,Sometimes the move page wizard fails ( usually when we change the page name and URL while staying in the same part of containment tree.)There is a spinner for a while, then there is a dialog that says "failed to load".This is an intermittent problem, many times it works fine. I've looked in the logs when the error occurs and the only ERROR message I can see is the following GET /content/versionhistory.thumb.48.48.png HTTP /1.1 ] org.apache.jsp.libs.cq.Page.thumb_png_jsp resource has no ...

Thanks all for the very useful suggestions which I will file away for future problems. In this case, I decided that the problem site had too many pages that I downloaded from the production server and that my localhost didn't have enough memory etc to cope. So I scrapped the entire localhost installation and restarted it with more refined packages with smaller numbers of pages. It has been fine so far.
