I have a problem when validating various text fields: The red or blue background color "bubbles" for validation error make any typing the user puts in the field hard to read. It is often vertically mis-aligned as well.Does anyone have a solution to this?

How do I create a new queue for Adobe LiveCycle workspace?For example, say I have queue A existing, and want to put some forms in queue A and others in queue B, depending on some bool.How do I create queue B, so that it exists and can be used in the relevant process?We typically assign the forms to AD groups, but since the same AD group will have access to each queue, we would prefer not to create a new AD group for it...Thanks in advance!NOTE: not sure if this belongs under the administrative c...

Does anyone know how to use LC processes to save PDF files to a SharePoint library using WebDAV? Or is there a way to use WebDAV after the processes have run to do this that doesn't directly involve LC?

If worst comes to worst:Save relevant directories in completely separate windows backup directory path.Remove all sub-folders from LC workbench (everything below the /1.0 leaf).Restore directories from backup path.This seems to ALWAYS work.

NOTE: Copy & paste still doesn't work on this forum, at least not in my ie10 browser.Does anyone have an exaple of a simple SQL Server database table write. Perhaps one example of a Create -- "C" operation and one of an Update -- "U" operation.I am looking for a particular URL for a specific example that does these operations, preferably with free downloadable code and files or easy to complete examples.See also:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1258262

I know this is getting old, so I am going to repost, but does anyone have an example of writing to a simple SQLServer (say SSMS 2012 or whatever) database table directly from a LiveCycle process? This paradigm is important. I'm looking for a specific URL ....Thanks!

We also are having problems with this. When sharing a queue, items should appear to other users but do not. Is this something we can fix by working on various settings or is it something that Livecycle currently doesn't provide?Our workspace is version 10.0.2.Also, I wish someone would fix this forum so that copy & paste worked in ie10 ....

I believe that "synchronize" in LiveCycle Workbench on the folder in question helps.NOTE: Closing workbench did not help, nor did a reboot of the server in question help.

After a password change, a workspace user has become locked out.How do you unlock a user who has been locked out.a) I thought I had it set not to do thisb) I've rebooted the server, waited the 30 minutes, still no success at all.Authentication is done by using Windows id / password; our system, like many, forces a password change every once in a while, and then there are always problems logging in, and sometimes with other aspects of the system also.

In testing the protected view, it was needed to delete various documents or modes from trusted hosts in Adobe preferences to simulate a new user. It was found that on initial submission trust once and trust always worked correctly. However, if the same documents or modes are deleted from Adobe preferences again, when resubmitting a form sent by email, it was found that trusting once worked correctly, but trusting always did not change the yellow banner of the protected view. Despite the yellow b...

Adobe workbench for Myserver checkin gives errors: "Could not create the asset because the asset already exists" and/or "File already exists in global store with that name". How does one fix this? This seems to especially happen when I change login to workbench user/configuration/"mode" etc.

The length/xml seem to be red-herrings. It appears to have something to do with the window / perspective settings, but I cannot find a combination that always works yet.

This is stored on the Object menu of the relevant field in Import/Export Bindings (Execute WSDL):It can be best seen by opening the xdp of the document in the xml editor of your choice, where it will appear as something like;

My WSDL works and from the process playback in Workbench I can tell that it is being called actively.However, there is a small problem.I don't see how the "errorCode" {-1 == SUCCESS} is transferred from the LiveCycle process to the LiveCycle document's JavaScript function.For example, for all processes (in the actual LiveCycle process) this seems to just be named "errorCode", however for the document's JavaScript known as getProcessWSDL it is called processErrorCode. I don't ever see how this is...

Thanks.Without getting into specific details (as some of my work is propriatary) one has to make sure the security for the process associated with the WSDL is set correctly for your organization/environment.I am not an expert on this, but after following what a colleague did, it works on my system.Hence, the reader may wish to research this security issue as I am no expert.However, hopefully this will point other people in the correct direction!

For those who get here from a Google search, I think one has to make a WSDL for the process. This is a complicated topic, however.Does anyone have any other ideas?
