Hello, We implemented the new Mobile SDK on our iOS application. Since then, we noticed that when we launch the application:We don't have a separate lifecycle hit anymore with "internalaction=Lifecycle" and "pev2=ADBINTERNAL:Lifecycle" Instead, some information from the lifecycle like "LaunchEvent", etc... are sent in the next hit that comes after. We don't have "internalaction=Lifecycle" and "pev2=ADBINTERNAL:Lifecycle" anymore. While checking with the developer, he has the following alert in h...

I believe the cookie expiry times are set like that because the intention of those plug-ins is to remember the value for the user's lifetime, or 31536000 seconds.E.g. the getVisitNum() is supposed to return a visit number for the user's lifetime, so it shouldn't be reset arbitrarily, e.g. every 3 days.On the other hand, given the state of cookie handling by modern browsers (Safari!), this is probably a moot discussion.

Marketing Channels can't be exposed in eVars because they're set when AA processes its collected data. But Marketing Channels are applicable to both web and app, since they're actually applied at the report suite's level. So you should still be able to make use of Marketing Channels with your app's data, though it won't be as straightforward as with web data.E.g. to set the app's Marketing Channel from your paid campaigns: assuming the user opens www.website.com?cid=abc123 on his phone. The websi...

Yes that is exactly what I want. But I need to mention that eVar1 is not assigned on Page2, it is only assigned on Page1. Your segment will work nonetheless ?

I wonder if you are listening for the Custom Event inside Launch library, what JS code calls _satellite before it gets loaded to the page?..Can you share a screenshot from the browser console that indicates an error?

Thank you for your answer. If a trackState has been sent before the lifecycle hit (for some technical error reason), does it still count as Entry page ?

Updating a new value to a specific key will overwrite the existing relationship. All instances of 123 would relate to new value once the sync occurs.

Avatar

I want to fire an event when the user clicks anywhere inside this div :Usually when a user clicks inside the div, a pop-up opens in the website. I want to fire the event just before that.I created an Event Rule with the following configuration :What happens now is, whenever I click inside the div, no event is fired. When I click in the area of the div that does not open the pop-up, the event is fired. What causes this problem? Is it related to the pop-up?Any help would be appreciated.
