Yeah, this form is already so complicated and I don't really know what I'm doing to begin with! I was hoping for an easy solution, but it sounds like this feature would be more trouble than it's worth.

Thanks for the speedy reply, Niall! Always so helpful! That solution will keep the information in every subsequent instance, right?I need the user to be able to fill out the subform and then choose to either insert a copy of that subform with their information or insert a clean subform. The repeat would only work for the most recent subform filled out. I uploaded my form for you to see.If you scroll down to the bottom you will see buttons for different question types (Multiple Choice, Fill in the...

Can I create a button that would insert a copy of a subform that a user already filled out that would contain the information they entered?

Thank you! It does seem to work now, but I needed to make some small cosmetic changes to the form. Iopened it in Adobe and extended rights and resaved, and now the add attachment button doesn't work. Did I miss a step?

I have created a form that allows users to add an attachment. I can add the attachment, but then where does it go? When the form is submitted, the attachment doesn't come with it.

OK, I found the right field, but I still can't get it to work.I opened the form, clicked OK, then saved the form with a new name. Then opened the newly named form and got the warning again. I clicked OK and closed and opened it again and still got the warning.I have attached my form.I wasn't sure exactly where to put the code you gave me so I tried it in the topmost level (SBtemplate) and in Page1 of the Master Pages. Are neither of those right? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help!I used your code in the form:ready event (there was no docready). The box does pop up and allow me to check OK. But it still pops up after I save the form and go in subsequent times. This is the process most users will follow:They open the form from a folder on the server. They don't have write access to that folder so they must save the form locally with a different file name. They will work on the form at their local workstation and then post the form in another folder on the ...

My subform situation is a little complicated. I have attached my form for you to look at.To recreate:open formclick "Edit to existing course"click Page to add an instance of the page subformclick Page to add another instanceuse "Move" buttons to rearrange themWhen user adds an instance of the page subform, they are really adding an instance of the parent subform Pages. This is so as the child subforms, page, discussion, assessment, dropbox are added by the user, they show up in the order the use...

I want an alert to popup the first time a user opens the form that instructs them to save it to their local computer before they begin working. Once they've done that, I don't want the alert to show up upon opening anymore. Is this possible?

Here is my heirarchy:form topic detailWhere detail and topic are repeating subforms. I have detail set to a minimum of 3 instances. Here is the weirdness:The first instance of topic (topic1), detail renders 4 times instead of 3. In subsequent instances, it renders the correct 3.ANDWhen instances of detail are added to subsequent instances of topic (topic2, topic3, etc), another instance of detail is also added to topic1.I have attached my form. Thanks for your help.

Bruce - I have another problem now.I have attached my form so you can take a look. I used your code for a repeating subform (detail) in a repeating subform (topic). So, details a, b, c, etc are created in topic1. I have the minimum set to 3, but it renders 4 (a, b, c, and d). Then, when I create subsequent instances of topic and add instances of detail, another instance shows up in the initial instance of topic.Wow, that sounds complicated. It will make sense if you look at the form.****NEVER MI...

Actually, what is happening is that when I add a new page, it's only letting me access one content area on that page(the bottom left one).

Thanks, Paul. I really appreciate how speedy you are with your assistance!OK, so I set up the content areas on my master page, but now I can't access the design view. It's only letting me create elements on the Master page. I'm sure I am missing a simple step here. I attached my form.

I know that in order for a subform to have dynamic elements it in, it needs to be flowed, and the form itself needs to be flowed. So, is there a way to put two flowing subforms side by side? I want to have two columns in my form, but I want each column to be flowed and dynamic.
