Re: Is it possible to have multiple submit buttons grouped with different required fields in subforms on one page? - Adobe LiveCycle 25-03-2015
Hi Scott,Thank you very much for your reply and I apologize for getting back to this so late. I started using your suggestions today and I did have some success! The "shadow" button is very clever. Now, I think my lack of javascript syntax knowledge is keeping me from getting it all correct. I experimented with one field, a date field and I created the shadow button as you suggested and it worked perfectly!. The successful code I used for the click event for the gray button (see image below), wa...

Is it possible to have multiple submit buttons grouped with different required fields in subforms on one page? - Adobe LiveCycle 11-03-2015
Hi everyone,I have a form with two sections. Each section is a subform (the green boxes represent the subforms in the screenshot) and each subform contains three required fields and one submit button (the button submits to an email address). The problem is I can't seem to keep them separated. If I fill in the required fields in Subform1 and then click the "Submit to Regional HR" button, it picks up the required fields in Subform 2. Is there a way to "point" or "group" those required fields to ea...

PDF not restoring layout once saved - Adobe LiveCycle 14-11-2014
Hello,I have a form that lets you removed questions (tables) via a minus button. However if a user removes them, saves the PDF and then repoens it later, the removed questions are come back. Anything that is typed will be saved, but the tables keep coming back. I have "preserve scripting changes" set to automatic in Form Properties -> Defaults, but that doesn't seem to affect the tables. I also have everything's binding set to it's own name. Here is a link to my file.Thank you very much for any ...

Hi everyone,I have a form that lets you removed questions (tables). However if a user removes them, saves the PDF and then repoens it later, the removed questions are back. Actions: difference between read only vs. user entered fields? - Adobe LiveCycle 19-08-2014
Hello,I've made two simple test forms. One works and the other doesn't and I think it's becasue of the state of a numeric field (read-only, user-enetred)? My two test files are here (they are dirt simple): http://dropcanvas.com/ix8zj I made them with LCD ES2. I've searched and tried every combination and change I could think of. The thing I'm trying to accomplish involves enabling a button when a value in a text field is reached.Thank you very much for your time and any help you can offer.ChrisH...

What would be the best method to build a customizable list of questions? - Adobe LiveCycle 06-08-2014
Hi everyone,I have a pool of questions divided into different subject groups - they are used during phone interviews. The interviewer selects only the questions he/she wants to ask before the interview takes place and hides the rest (typically, about half of the pool of questions will be used). During the course of the interview, the interviewer records his/her thoughts in a multi-line text box below each question and then upon completion prints or saves the PDF.I have made the what I've mentioe...
