Its best practice to close the session when you are done with it - as shown in your code. I will confirm if you need a patch for version 5.6.

These Class appears to be missing from the AEM javadocs. Please open a bug here:http://helpx.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/experience-manager.htmlSorry about the missing Javadoc.

I don't know of anyway to do that doesn't at least involve overriding the dialog file for the image component in /apps. By overriding the dialog in /apps/foundation/components/image you could disable the free crop, and then you use a hidden x-type to set the crop dimensions. One thing to consider about this approach is that it locks your default crop size into the content of the component, so if for some reason in the future you wanted to change those default dimensions you'd have to write a scr...

I have passed this thread to the AEM doc team who will respond. They will help you. In the mean time -- look at this older AEM community thread -- it may help:http://forums.adobe.com/message/4796914

The most common solution I have implemented to address the need for frequent back ups is to leverage an active - passive author cluster with a SAN data storage layer. This enables several scenarios, the common one however is:On a scheduled basis - say hourly you stop repository writes on the passive node of the cluster (see http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/core/administering/backup_and_restore.html#Filesystem Snapshot Backup for details on how to do this).Take a SAN snapshot of the reposito...

Hi,The SSO Authentication Handler suppots generic SSO architectures where there is a separate piece of application logic *in front* of AEM which handles the actual SSO negotiation and then store the user id in a header or cookie. The SAML Authentication Handler suppots direct integration between AEM and a SAML identity provider.Regards,Justin
