I'm not sure how I would use an input value. Can you help me understand? I see this one for instance "" How would I use that as a condition?

We use Pardot forms and landing pages and have the forms correctly tagged to utilize Adobe Launch. We have a rule using Core - Submit which triggers and sets evars and events. The problem is it triggers every time someone submits even if they do not fill in all the required fields and they receive an error after clicking submit. Important to note there is no thank you page, all single page app, same url after submit.

Yes I guess that is correct from a programming standpoint, no error there. But how do I get it to fire only when the submit is successful? Like Core > Form Submit AND "No Errors"

UPDATE: The rule is firing properly. The set variable action wasn't set properly so the eVar was being populated with "null" . Now the problem is the rule fires every time the form is submitted. Including if you leave the fields blank, click submit, and the page reloads with required field errors.

Yes, input type="submit" accesskey="s" value="Submit Your Request". If it helps this is using a Pardot landing page.

Seems like a basic function of launch so not sure what I am doing wrong. I have created a rule in Launch with an event = Core-Submit. I tried setting it to a specific element = #pardot-form which is the ID in the code. I then switched it to "any element" and it still did not fire. I have no conditions set and the actions are to set variables and send the adobe analytics beacon. When I look at the adobe debugger on the form page, you can see the launch tag on the form is working as context data i...

We are seeing utm_campaign parameters related to paid campaigns in the drill down for visits from a last touch channel of direct. I read other posts and made sure our direct channel was not set to override which it is not. Should we be seeing paid campaigns in Direct visits?

So after I wrote this, cathartic I guess, I figured out what to do. Check this out, by creating segments for each step and including each successive step in each segment I was able to match counts. The segment for step 2 looks like this: Then by the 5th segment I have 5 page names. What's cool about this is I can set the segments to "Then Within" 1 visit, day, week etc.

The ultimate goal here is to show a table of 200 geographic business units with their fallout % at each step of the purchase process so we can look for anomalies. In a fallout chart I can add the business units and show the comparison in the chart but more than 10 at a time is too much. So how could i get it to something like this? The CSV export doesn't provide the columns & rows properly besides the fact that adding 200 BUs to the chart for export is not possible. Building a free form table do...

One other question. If we have to implement CCPA/GDPR opt-in/out code as a condition on the tags would I still want 1 general page view tag since I don't need Adobe Analytics to be wrapped by the privacy code, just Linked-In and Facebook and others like that.

What is best practice here? I have to report pageviews to LinkedIn, Facebook, MediaIQ, Adobe Analytics, etc. Do I use 1 "Global: Page Views" rule with all the vendors in the action section? or Separate rules for each, like Facebook: Page Views, LinkedIn: Page Views, etc? I would think 1 rule firing them all is more efficient but if I have to change one, like linked in, I'd have to republish it for all.

We have been seeing orders and revenue recorded in our Adobe Analytics production environment that were completed in a staging environment. The IT team thinks they have narrowed it down to a change in the DTM tag and is fixing it. But now I'd like to filter out any transactions in workspaces that came from these environments. The only idea I came up with was to use our Order ID variable as it seems all the erroneous transactions have an order ID of 5 digits instead of 6. Is there a way to say Or...

We would like to see budget numbers for things like revenue that are forecasted by our financial team in Adobe to see how well we are doing YoY and against budget. These budget items are only specific to a monthly total and broken out by customer types. I would think there would be a way to import an excel sheet with a month/year column and a revenue column to map to a "Budget Revenue" metric?

This is interesting and hard to tell if there is an issue because the majority of our traffic is from chrome or safari, so you'll see both have a divergence in the last touch channel.Browser Type = AppleBrowser Type = GoogleAlso unique visitors vs visits doesn't show a significant divergence

Yes you are correct, the first is marketing channels. It's actually called Last Touch Report if that matters but it is breaking it down by marketing channels. The admin logs show nothing in February for the report suites log or admin log. The usage and access log show an API call hitting on 2/22It starts on the 21st with API operation 'WebServices\Classifications.CreateImport'and then on the 22nd repeats this: API operation 'WebServices\Classifications.CommitImport'Marketing channel rules did no...

For some reason we saw a large divergence in our direct vs natural channels on February 22 according to Adobe. We have checked all release notes and tags to see if anything may have been changed to create this divergence and have found nothing. Also when viewing channels using Google analytics we see there are no changes in the trending of direct vs organic. I realize raw numbers will not match between Adobe & Google but trending should if users truly were coming directly vs searching. So to me ...

We have moved on to using Workspaces as our display. The full screen functionality of chrome works, but we had to enable a browser plugin to refresh the data every 10 minutes. It works most of the time but require user intervention at least 1x per day due to a login time out or adobe stuck refreshing the data.

Very new to adobe analytics and trying to figure out how to load or pull in offline sales data to count towards our total revenue and orders. For example: In July we sold 10 widgets online for $100 total. But 5 more people filled out a form online and a sales rep sold them widgets for an additional 5 orders at $50 total. Adobe as is only can show $100 & 10 orders. How can I bring in the others to show TOTAL = $150 and 15 orders? If it helps, the offline lead sales are completed in Salesforce. I s...

When clicking the full-screen button on our real-time dashboard the html doesn't scale properly giving us slider bars up & down and left and right. We have tried changing screen resolution, different browsers, and zoom levels with no luck. The Real-time dashboard scales correctly on computer monitors set at 1920x1080. The issue is when connected via HDMI to a television monitor at any resolution, even 1920x1080.
