Ability to combine Dimension on the fly (think: Calculated Dimensions) frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Hello friends, I think everyone who works with Adobe Analytics has run into a situation where we would like to combine the value of two or more dimensions into one value for reporting. If you have an eVar for City and a prop for Country, it would be awesome to be able to combine both to a value like "City in Country", just like a Calculated Metric. If it only works for dimensions on the same hit we would already have a lot of value. Today, I solve this by tracking the value in a combined way and...

Next and previous Page in Workspace (Pathing IQ) frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Hello friends!I submitted this post before, but it got deleted during the Experience League migration. So here it is again!Right now, there is no easy way to generate a next- or previous page report in Analysis Workspace. It is something that has been requested countless times. We can do a bit with Segments from the Flow Visualization, but that is a very involved process. But since we are able to change Metric calculations with Attribution IQ, why not do something similar with Dimensions as well...

Make sharing Workspaces to Groups a configurable permission frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Dear League! At time of writing, only Analytics Admins can share an Analysis Workspace with Groups of Users. I think this should be a privilege that can be given to any User through the Admin Console, like Curating Workspaces. Making someone an Admin just so they can share a Workspace with Groups is far overkill. Best regards,Frederik

Hey and , well explained, ! That is one of the usecases.... frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Hey @Andrey_Osadchuk and @pabloc82923542,well explained, @pabloc82923542! That is one of the usecases. This is not only limited to the page dimension, but any other dimension as well. For example, we could compare the time spent per visit across device types compared to the average. That way we could easily see, that our mobile users are spending 3 minutes less on our page than the average over all devices. This is also interesting for marketing campaigns or entry page reports. For a media compan...

Negative Time Values in Adobe Analytics frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Hey Guys, I cam across a strange behavior in Analytics. It seems like it is not able to render negative values in time format correctly, at least in Analysis Workspace. To reproduce, I created two calculated metrics, one with a static value of "30" and one with "-30". Then I formatted them both as time. In Workspace, they look like this: Clearly, the negative value is broken. We need this to compare time spent on specific pages with the average, but it does not work right now. The expected resul...

Re: Equivalent to _satellite.getVar in Apps frederikw694537 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Hey @Ivan_Mironchuk, of course 🙂 On the Blog post linked above, I outline the case of Analytics, where we could save on Server Calls through sampling and adjust the sampling rate through Launch. Other Analytics cases would be to prefix or postfix a variable on the fly. All this would be done by the Analyst and would not change that often (maybe once a week at max?). The other case would be for our Developers. This is the even bigger case in my opinion, since they would not need a separate "tag ...

Option to remove Unspecified/None breaks time spent metrics for props in Workspace frederikw694537 - Adobe Analytics
Since the October release of Analytics (October 2019) we have the option to filter out Unspecified/None in Analysis Workspace. This feature is great for eVars, since we can conveniently filter out those values. But this filter has a massive flaw in it's design. Not only does it affect eVars, but props as well. The problem is that there is no Unspecified/None for props! This concept has always only been applicable to eVars. This has two effects: The first one is only annoying, since we now have Un...

Equivalent to _satellite.getVar in Apps frederikw694537 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Hey guys, for websites we have the awesome ability to set up a data element in Launch and call _satellite.getVar to get the value of that data element, as described on Launch object reference. We are using this with constant data elements from the core extension to provide some config values to our websites (as described here). Awesome! Now we would like to do the same thing with our apps. Is there any equivalent way of getting the value of a constant data element configured in Launch via the SD...
