  • In addition to the suggestions above, on the template landing page, go to the 'People' tab, and remove yourself there. This only affects the projects that spawn from that particular template (it will also remove any assignments you may have had in that template). Sean

  • Default values for report prompts would make life easier for many people who run reports. If you think it's a good idea, please consider up-voting: https://experience.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W4IAAU/detail Sean

  • You can only delegate your proofs (and only from ProofHQ, not Workfront) IF you have a Work or Plan license (which makes you a user instead of a contact in proofHQ). What's desperately needed, is the Delegate option in Workfront also applying to proofs and it also working for Review license users (w...

It would make for less clicks for users, if a report creator could set default values for report prompts. With default values, in most situations, the end user viewing the report can just click the 'Run Report' button, and the defaults will be used. Currently the default value is '--any--', but for ...

  • As suggested by Skye, this is what I currently do. I have a custom form for Video requests, one for print, one for social, one for blog etc. I also have one that has all of them combined into one form (each as a section), with checkboxes added at the top to show/hide the relevant sections. Since all...

  • I have a custom view that truncates the description of things (for us, that can sometimes make a single row very, very big). To do this, select the field(s) that can get big (such as description ), switch to Text Mode, and add a valueexpression similar to this: valueexpression=IF(LEN({description}) ...

  • Most web browsers have a 2GB file upload limit (IE, Firefox, Safari, older Chrome), so there's a good chance the problem lies at the browser level before it even reaches Workfront. Sean

  • Hi Tammie, There is a permission that is set on the individual proof (for each user). Be sure to check it for each and every user that needs it, on each and every proof. Sean

  • This happens to me on the 'report settings' screen. In short, this is a Workfront Javascript bug (or rather antiquated code that isn't relevant to all web browsers). Browsers of old used the backspace key as a shortcut for the back button (when a text input doesn't have the focus) - some years ago m...

  • If you make reports with lots of custom data fields, then you might also find is useful to use HTML inside of a valueexpression property so you can style your view without an erroneous amount of columns all using sharecol=true .
