Re: How do I: grey out text areas if they are selected as not required? - Adobe LiveCycle 17-11-2009
I put some debug code in there to check the setting and it is being maintained. It must be a display issue or a bug. You could open an incident with support but I tried everything I know to get it back and it does not help. If you change the border style to a solid line instead of 3D it is maintained.Paul

Re: How Do I: Auto-populate other areas of form from text field? - Adobe LiveCycle 18-11-2009
For mutually exclusive checkboxes you could use a script like this:if (this.rawValue == 1){ checkbox2.rawValue = 0; checkbox3.rawValue = 0;}This script would be placed on the click event of checkbox1 using javascript as the language. The script for checkbox2 would be:if (this.rawValue == 1){ checkbox1.rawValue = 0; checkbox3.rawValue = 0;}and so on down the line for however many checkboxes that are mutually exclusive.

Re: Linking Checkboxes to Fields, Part 2 - Adobe LiveCycle 17-07-2009
My solution (it's not simple though):IF it is REALLY many fields and really many possibilities of choosing then you can make a negative form that will write you the scripts.(Then you just need to overgive the fieldname to a specific field into a scripted script.)(Got a form with 190 checkboxes which handle about 2 600 if sentences... [hell didn't get they got that much] changing frequently ^^ you can imagine how long major changes take... ^^ about 1 min each ;D )Though making a negative and a sc...

Re: Creating a TOC - Adobe LiveCycle 23-08-2010
Hi,Here are some examples:The first one is for a XFA form with a static number of pages (eg easier to keep track of sections): https://acrobat.com/#d=f0knWwFdm45r80NeuqtUvwThis second example is a dynamic XFA form as the user can add pages. https://acrobat.com/#d=0Vwv8jvHYfBuQuGjmjCGrAIn both cases check out the script in the click event of the index button. The buttons is on the Master Page, but does not appear in LC Designer as the way we were working image buttons at the time. I hope these he...

Re: Word Import Q - Adobe LiveCycle 17-03-2009
My guess is that they are not checboxes in word but merely a box or 4 lines that make a box. If you import it into Acrobat 1st (Forms/Start Form Wizard). Then when that is done import the PDF into Designer you may get a better result. Acrobat will guess as to where the fields shodul be (sometimes it is right sometimes it is not). You will have to cleanse the form afterward no matter what.

Re: Cant save form PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 11-03-2009
Yes you can turn on capability in Reader by Reader Extending it. There are two ways to Reader Extend your file. You can extend the file using LiveCycle Reader Extensions (this has the full set of extensions available) or you can use Acrobat which has a small subset of Reader Extensions (Local save and digitla signatures only).
