Here's an example: I have this HTL: ${model.label} ${model.hintText} ${model.preparedForInvalidCharactersError} */--> ${valiation.constraint} ${valiation.message} I can stop in the debugger and see that the name field is as expected "name" But this is the content that's generated: It's this: For some reason, it inserts the name of the content package rather than the name in the component. Something in sling is changing it and I can't debug into the generated code.

I have setup Eclipse (version 2020-12) quite some time ago, I don't know all the settings I changed. But let me illustrate it with an example I have right in front of me. NamespaceRegistry namespaceRegistry = session.getWorkspace().getNamespaceRegistry(); * I select "NamespaceRegistry" and then select "open implementation".* In the "Type Hierachy" dialog I select "NamespaceRegistry - javax.jcr".* Eclipse opens the file "NamespaceRegistry.class", which is part of the "jcr-2.0.jar" Maven dependenc...

Hello, if you are asking about default page type thumbnail displayed at authoring console then, its from template configuration (static or editable)for example - /conf/we-retail/settings/wcm/templates/hero-page/thumbnail.png (just as reference)

This is available in 6.3 as well. Here is the doc - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/experience-manager/6-3/assets/using/mac-api-assets.html. Are you not able to run it on 6.3 ?

@jkpanera As simple as it sounds, when working with the transformer configurations, there is a property that you can allow which paths to be HTML transformed, called paths. You can try other properties such as resourceTypes... for the full list of transformer configurations, checkout Apache's documentation page.Your configuration can look something like this: paths="[/content/my-site,/content/experience-fragments/my-site]" serializerType="htmlwriter" transformerTypes="[linkchecker,jsonlinksmapp...

Hi @jkpanera , You could use http://localhost:4502/system/console/depfinder to find out for a package which bundles are importing and exporting that package. Hope this helps. Let me know if this is not what you are looking for ? ThanksNarendra

A query parameter does not solve the issue as caching in the dispatcher can't be done by query parameter.

Quick Question, in the node structure we dont be having root under the page right? it is present under jcr:content. So for components should it be /content/site/page/jcr:content/root/component ?

@jkpanera ,Your requirement to allow authors to insert custom Key Pair Values from the Granite UI dialogue is possible. Simply use the Multifield and two, child text-field Granite UI components for your dialogue configuration. An example of a configured dialogue would look something like this:Here's how the Granite UI configuration XML example: After the component have been configured and saved, your JCR node structure should be organised as so:Now your content should be structured an...

Well, you can check the OSGI Webconsole for the exact bundle name and version, and in case it's opensource, you should be able to get the source for it from the usual locations.

Wow. Adobe never added such a basic feature. It could be a single drop down. Par for the course from a company that cares more about selling to VPs than making the lives of developers/admins easier.

Unfortunately, this was added with 6.4 and is not available in 6.3. There are solutions, but they involve development to use the API in 6.3 and earlier versions.

Yup, typically when you include the property of "required=true", then the Touch UI dialogue will highlight the field in read, along with it's parent tab (if any).

I general -- a Move in AEM is a very expensive operation as any number of references and things need to be adjusted post move. Just be cognizant of that. If you're moving a lot of subtrees you may see some resource contention within the JCR. This article is a bit dated but conveys what you can do with the API https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/experience-manager/kb/How-to-move-an-asset-in-application-code-AEM-Assets.htmlhttps://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/spec/jcr/1.0/7.1.7_Moving_and_Copying.html

Try upgrading your core components [1]. Make sure the version you're upgrading to is compatible with your AEM version. [1] https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-core-components/using/versions.html

I guess that these are 2 different aspects:Packaging the application and its dependenciesDeploying the packagesThe deploying part is the easy one, because I would expect that you always provide a fixed set of deployment artifacts; and if the developers decide to add some more dependent libraries, these libraries should be embedded into the existing deployment artifacts. On the development side you should declare your dependencies, and if your dependencies are not already part of AEM, makes sure ...

Hi guys, We have been creating new image transforms using the ACS class com.adobe.acs.commons.images.impl.NamedImageTransformerImpl. Very nice, you just create a new OSGI component configuration as follows: and the transforms crop, bounded-resize, quality, and progressive are executed on the fly against the original image. Okay, great. But limited. Now I need to create a new image transformer. I can do so by implementing the interface com.adobe.acs.commons.images.ImageTransformer, but I can't g...

Hi,I agree with this requests, but not only for the purposes described above, but also because development on both Apache and Dispatcher has slowed (e.g. where is the new dispatcher plugin for Windows?). Nginx is a superior solution and wins over Apache in most studies:- https://serverguy.com/comparison/apache-vs-nginx/- https://www.nginx.com/blog/nginx-vs-apache-our-view/- https://www.plesk.com/blog/various/nginx-vs-apache-which-is-the-best-web-server/- https://www.hostingadvice.com/how-to/ngin...

So it seems that the events have been going through reliably, but the Java debugger does not reliably stop in the onEvent method. Strange. The packages org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.jcr and org.apache.jackrabbit.commons have some good logging info for this situation.
