Forcing a workflow to run on all assets in a folder - Adobe Experience Manager Assets 28-02-2019
How can I force a workflow to occur on all assets within a folder? There are a large number of assets that did not process (Asset Creation Workflow) and it is impractical to force a work flow one by one.

Desktop App never connects after successful authentication - Adobe Experience Manager Assets 22-02-2019
Using the desktop app, I am receiving the following after successful authentication:{"jcr:primaryType":"sling:Folder","jcr:mixinTypes":["mix:lockable","rep:AccessControllable"],"jcr:createdBy":"admin","jcr:created":"Fri Jun 23 2017 13:10:19 GMT-0400"}The connection never completes. I have done a packet capture. There is nothing there. I have also looked through the logs. Nothing out of the ordinary either. Thanks ahead of time.

Is anyone else aware of a way to do this?

Re: AEM Assets Default Sort - Adobe Experience Manager 11-02-2019
Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the sorting feature in List View. This requires that a user manually sort every time he opens the folder.I was referring to setting a default. In other words, a way to select the default sorting behavior for files/folders across the entire DAM. Does such a thing exist?

AEM Assets Default Sort - Adobe Experience Manager 11-02-2019
Is there a way to change the default sort of files/folders in AEM Assets? As in, sort folders/files A-Z by default without having to List View>Title.

Re: Assets - Link to published asset from the author? - Adobe Experience Manager 04-02-2019
Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely correct that the only change for a published asset would be the hostname/port. I'm asking mainly for authors/content producers that may not be familiar or even care about the AEM system stack. In other words, if a content producer uploads an asset, publishes it, and wants a direct link to the file there doesn't seem to be a way to pull it in the UI.

Assets - Link to published asset from the author? - Adobe Experience Manager 04-02-2019
Is there a way to view the URL/link to a published asset from the author? In other words, I am after the URL of the asset on the publisher. I know there are ways of sharing assets, generating URL's and embed code. However, none of them link to the raw file on the publisher.

Re: Assets Link Share - Video Playback Issues - Adobe Experience Manager 01-02-2019
This was the culprit.

I am not sure actually. I can confirm that while logged in everything loads properly. It's only when a user outside of AEM logs in that this situation occurs.

Re: Assets Link Share - Video Playback Issues - Adobe Experience Manager 01-02-2019
The errors I am getting in chrome web console are actually:test2.mp4:1 Refused to execute script from 'https://localhost:4502/libs/granite/core/content/login.html?resource=%2Flibs%2Fdam%2Fcomponents%2Fscene7%2Fcommon%2Fclientlibs%2Fi18n.min.js&$$login$$=%24%24login%24%24&j_reason=unknown&j_reason_code=unknown' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.test2.mp4:1 Refused to execute script from 'https://localhost:4502/libs/granite/core/content...
