We used an update process to change ID values of event configurations.
This was done to avoid deleting and recreating them. We changed the
value from EVT to something like '1707211'. That
process worked, but after that we are no longer able to publish, we get
an error of attribute or element 1707211 is invalid. When looking at
schemas, I see ext:rtEvent _ all still
exist even after deleting all event configurations and starting over.
This includes the original values, the updated values and the ...
Thanks, we have come to the same conclusion. We are also fairly certain
that this is likely not what the client will want to do at this point
and they would use fatigue rules to simply prevent the same profile from
receiving more than 3 emails in a day.
Right, fatigue is against the recipient level, but we are looking for an
overall cap. For instance, no more than 3 specific deliveries to be sent
on a certain day, even if 8 deliveries are submitted. Is there a way to
have the tool automatically hold 5 of the deliveries from being sent
I see the document for ACC has details for capacity rules, but what
about ACS? Is there only the option for fatigue, which would be at the
recipient level and not an overall email send cap per day? I have a
request to cap the amount of unique deliveries being sent per day.
Before we go down a different path to make this happen, is there a built
in mechanism to replicate the capacity functionality from ACC?
The issue has been resolved. The problem was the "Do not import
recipients into the database" dialog box was checked. We couldn't
uncheck it, that was the only difference between the production instance
and the sandbox I was comparing it to. To fix it, we changed the value
in the delivery form from true to false and, viola, the box could be
unchecked, we could change the destination mapping for the flowchart id
column and the OOTB template now works.
Correct, I set up a workflow to fail (no logic in a query) so we could
see the alert to make sure it works. Now that I'm taking a closer look
at this instance compared to another, I see a working instance has
Population from a file in the To line and this non-working instance has
a specific set of email addresses called out. When I look into the file
it's referencing, the values are defined there and I can now preview the
delivery. I can't send it still, but a preview of it works. I'll just
Thanks for the reply. This is for the pre-configured alert on a workflow
failure (notifySupervisor technical delivery template), there isn't a
notification activity in the workflow itself to actual configure. In the
workflow properties this is set for the failure notice. Any
pre-configured template that uses a dataSource. variable fails. I'm
looking as the config-.xml file that has dataSource
information in it, the name is set to default still with the other info
populated. Other ACC instances I...
When we try to use the OOTB notification of workflow supervisor we

Before we start to open ports and make changes, does anyone have a list
of steps to change a URL? The request is to change from http to https.
This is a Linux installation, there are two instances for this
organization and both are up and running. Any feedback is appreciated,
While we are able to go through the standard training for campaign
usage, is there a formal online training class for installing the
product(s)? I didn't see anything but wanted to check with the
We are still getting an error that we don't have rights to do this,
which is really confusing since the accounts we're signed in with have
full admin rights. Do we need to explicitly assign the users permission
to the folder?
We are getting an error during a SOAP call, SOP-330023 and part of that
error is "You don't have the required rights to view the detail." We
have tried this with several users, all of which have full admin rights
across the entire instance. Has anyone encountered this before?
We had a client ask a question around what happens with campaign
tracking/reporting if the campaign server is down? For instance, we send
an email in the morning and 5 minutes later the Campaign server goes
down. Is the reporting during the downtime lost?
I am trying to change an input form field. The dialog box is the up/down
arrows. Currently, it goes up/down in values of 1. We'd like it to go up
or down in values of .25 instead. Where can I go to make this change?
