@ArunaSurukunta , Thanks for sharing your insight. Agree, I would package the newly created templates from Production Author to lower environments as the number of templates we might end up having are not many. Thanks,Sudheer.

Hi Keshav, Thanks for sharing your perspective especially towards the point B.Regarding point a) Editable templates doesn't give any added advantage to authors if they have to create and test their templates all the way from Dev to Prod IMO. Thanks,Sudheer.

Hello Folks,I am looking for recommendations/best practices around maintaining the "Editable Templates". Specifically, on the following two points A) When authors create new editable templates on Production Author, what's the best way to bring the newly created editable templates to the lower environments like Stage, QA and DEV servers? This definitely required for debugging the production issues on the lower environments.B) In case if editable templates are committed to SCM(git), then how is th...

So while checking before proposing this solution, I saw that your dialog code is not being executed at all when you open the dialog. That's why I changed it to 'dialog-data-ready'. Try to add a simple console log statement right after the 'use strict' statement and deploy the code. On the page load, in the browser console, you should see the console statement. This confirms that your js code is available in authoring mode.

Hi aliaksandr_hvozdzeu, I was able to make your dialog show/hide fields based on the dropdown selection change by doing following two changes to JS. 1) Instead of listening to $(document).on('foundation-contentloaded', function(e), I have replaced it with $(document).on('dialog-data-ready', function(e) {2) Instead of passing Granite jquery object (document, Granite.$)); I have passed regular jquery object}(document, $)); Hope this helps in fixing your problem.

Hi, Can you try adding /conf/yourprojectfolder? I think this shouldn't delete anything under /conf but just deploy to /conf. Thanks.

AMS monitors all your servers in real time and will restart the servers in case they become unresponsive or went down. I am not exactly sure if AMS auto scales the resources based on the spike in the traffic.

Hi There,I don't think there is any magic number where the dispatcher would fail and die if those many concurrent users access it at the same time. The performance of the dispatcher and that of your site mainly depends on the efficiency of the dispatcher caching. I know sites developed on AEM which are handling 1M+ page requests per day with only 2 dispatchers and one load balancer in place and without any CDN caching. However, there is a chance of memory leaks happening on dispatchers(due to iss...

I recently received an upgraded Mac laptop with Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. While setting up Dispatcher in my mac laptop I faced numerous issues and finally ended up with not setting up any. Here are my research and analysis. I hope it will be helpful for others.1) Mac OS 10.14 Mojave doesn't allow to copy dipatcher_module.so file into /usr/libexe/apache2 folder even as the root user. In case, if you still want to copy it, disabling SIP at OS booting by going into Debug mode is the only option(Found thi...
