Hi Thomas,Good question. We are working on putting together a document that will identify different learning vehicles to help meet the different objective areas for the exam. Goal is within the next week to have something ready .... it would be a living document as learning content is always popping up ... docs, whitepapers, demos, training, etc.In the future, as Adobe releases more Enterprise certification exams this kind of learning map will be available when the exam is announced.It will be p...

In order to monitor Rights Management events you must set the ‘EventHandlersEnabled’ key totrue in the Rights Management server configuration file. This file can be found from the AdminUI by navigating to Home > Services > LiveCycle Rights Management ES > Configuration >Manual Configuration and exporting the configuration file. Export > Make the change > Import

Hi there,I have taken a look at your form. First off, some weird behaviour is that when you first sign it the signature is invalid as you mention. But if you close that document and reopen it the signature validates.I broke apart your form into separate pages and signed each invidivually. The only page that would not initially validate (before reopening) was page 3. I looked through the script on that page and did not see anything out of the ordinary. even after removing the script the behaviour...

You are right. I was typing too quickly. It should be the Export Data.To fix the error message you are getting, and off the top of my head, achieve your desired result you will need to register the xfa namespace. To that right click on an empty area of your process and click properties. In the properties section you should be able to click the ADVANCED tab. You will then notice an area for "Register namespace prefixes...". Here you can click the + button to add the prefix of "xfa" and the namesp...

There are a couple of things you can do now that this has come about. It will depend on your workflow so I'll give the two options I know of....Option 1:You can keep things how you have changed them and add another step into the process that will accept the PDF as input and output the XML data to a variable. This operation is the import Data operation from the FormDataIntegration service. You can then use the data in the variable to populate your process variables. This is probably the best wher...

A couple of things to look at...1) Be sure the renderer in the process is set to render only once or else it will render again and you will lose your signature (in the form variable there will be a button for Advanced... that brings you to the rendere. There will be a checkbox so you can be sure to render only once)2) Be sure that in the form itself in the properties of the button the submit as: parameter is set to PDF and not the default of XDPThat should work.

Your form is most likely configured to submit xml/xdp whichi is why you are losing your signature. Be sure the form is configured to submit PDF

There are some Adobe partners who offer solutions like what you are looking for (Roaming IDs). See the security partner portal. Here is a link to the write-up on Arcot and their solution.http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/security/index_security_partners.html#arcot

You need to apply the policy to the document prior to it having any signatures on it. Be sure the policy will allow for 'form fill in and signing'.

The most straight forward way is as follows...1. Configure the form so that it submits back PDF (property on the submit property tab of the button in Designer (otherwise if you submit back xml the signature will be lost)2. Configure the form variable as type DocumentForm and then in the Advanced Settings of the variable make sure the "Render Form Only Once" option is selected .... otherwise on subsequent steps where you use that form it will be re-rendererd and you will lose the signature

When you do that the "Repeat for each data..." property on the positioned subform being wrapped gets cleared. Check that you have reset that option.

It has been a while since I have used FormCalc so you can double check the help.But....If you have named a field the same e.g. Drop1 and have multipel fields Drop1[0], Drop1[1], Drop1[2].... etc. Then you have multipel instances. With formCalc you can simple sum them by saying $ = sum(Drop1[*]) and it will loop through all instances of Drop1 to some. Once again just double-check the syntax (e.g Sum or sum, etc.)

I have attached your form with a fourth page added to illustrate what you were looking at accomplishing. For a portion of it I used subforms (instead of tables) to create the structure necessary. Hope this helps.

It is taking along time for the PDF to become available. If you would like me to look at it sooner you can email it to livecycle8@gmail.com

Hi there,I have not looked at your form but if the fields in question where located in a subform you could set the subform's "Presence" property to "hidden". Then on the Change event of the checkbox you could write code something like if (this.rawValue == 1) { .presence = "visible" } else { .presence = "hidden"}

Just a thought .... try leaving the parameter for policy set (where you have "MyPolicies") as nullHaven't called this through the API only used it in an orchestration and I know that parameter is optional in general .... required if policy is in a Policy Set and optional if it is not.

Does antoine.blanchard from the domain PCW have permissions as a document publisher.That is in the property of the custom policy set you created there should be a tab for publishers. Any users listed in that area are allowed to apply a policy from that set. Did you add antoine.blanchard from PCW into this area? If so is the spelling of the domain and username correct?

No worries.The page level subform (you should be looking in the Hierarchy view of the form which by default shows on the left of the Designer screen) in the sample is titles "(untitled subform) (Page 1)". Select that node and then in the object property window go to the Subform tab and the Content property and notice it is set to Flowed. To create dynamic data driven forms you need to use subforms of this type in appropriate places. Once you have done that the subform for the repeating fields wi...
