Hi, We're trying to create dialogs that are WET compliant. Using:https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.2.4/jquery.jsJquery 2.2.4, which is WET approach. We are having mixed results with this. Sometimes the dialog closes, sometimes it doesn't. Curious if Forms 6.5 (older jquery) works with Jquery 2.2.4. So the specific problem is the dialog doesn't always close. Seems the click handler is not always registered. (Using 2.2.4 syntax) We have tried: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/experience-man...

(Reposted in Forms) AEM Forms 6.5. (Windows)Using HTL with: When the HTL page passes afAcceptLang=fr the contained form "test" doesn't translate. It does translate on its own using afAcceptLang=fr. Any ideas? Joel

When I add an event hander to a form, the JS is connected to the form. Variables are available that are not (easily) outside. Not aware of away to set a breakpoint from Chrome. The source is not available AFAIK unless it's in an outside script. If you have an example of how to debug an init script, please share a link

Can we get a fix for this? If pub can handle it, why can't auth?

I added a bunch more. Seems to be working now. (expat.i686 libxcb.i686 freetype.i686 libXau.i686 libSM.i686 zlib.i686 libICE.i686 libuuid.i686 glibc.i686 libXext.i686 nss-softokn-freebl.i686 fontconfig.i686 libX11.i686 libXrender.i686 libXrandr.i686 libXinerama.i686 ). Thank You. Now to customize the actual XDP so it's not ugly

Note that I did one test, where I deleted the dictionary from the project and re-added it and this seemed to fix the problem, but then the problem re-appeared after the next translation. Something is out of whack.

Hi Scott. We are fairly sure that we won't need just assets. They will be needed for patches, but not in the general case. I'll ask another question if that changes. Please mark this as answered.-Joel

Hi Joel,If you are on aem version 6.0 or above then you dont need to copy the entire node structure rather just overlay the nodes which you need to override. The parent node structure of the overriden nodes will be copied and that too without any custom properties. Attaching links and screenshot for the same.https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/platform/overlays.htmlhttps://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/develop/platform/overlays.html

My co-worker figured *something* out.1. Use /libs/cq/i18n/translator.html to define the text for your URL(s)2. Add ?wcmmode=disabled&afAcceptLang=fr to your URL, and the text just translates.I think the first time I tried this, I wasn't look at the right URL in the list provided by translator.htmlThanks for the help-Joel

Overlay you have more control - you move the given component from libs to apps and then you have control over the content under /apps. You can change app logic, the dialog, etc, Joel - if you want to have a call - i can help your team come up to speed with AEM. email me - scottm@adobe.com
