Re: Validation error on required field - Adobe LiveCycle 10-04-2014
Hi Vinit Shah,To see the script on any control in LiveCycle Designer you should open the script editor window from window--> Script Editor. Select the control and click on Show dropdown in the Script editor window. Every even having * *Star) sign has some script.Regards,Ratnesh

Hello Ratnesh,Yes, I have tried patterns. The one you suggested was what I had originally set. I've tried all the listed patterns including num.currency(). The behavior is always the same.Have you had any success making this work?Thank you, Mike

Re: How to get the File/Save event - Adobe LiveCycle 26-03-2014
There is no code to prevent the user from saving. You can however remove any invalid data before the save occurs.Kyle

Re: Why would the TextField.font.size property not be working? - Adobe LiveCycle 06-03-2014
Dear Ratnesh,Thank you for the reply. Yes, I've ended up using that method. I'm still curious why the original approach is not working though.I had seen the "set font size to 0 using the LCD dialogue box" method on other postings. I experienced the same behaviour that others have mentioned, where sometimes the automated font size is too big (or bigger than you'd like). I managed to control this behaviour, and apply an upper cap to the font size by adding some "space before" on the paragraph tab....
