Hi Eric,There can be two possibilities under which these settings should be changed or require some research for change according to the utilization or concurent users connecting for development or utilization of the LC Orchestration or its services: -1. LC Server (Managing the Connections)/Container for hosting the services : JVM (32 bit/ 64 bit), RAM (System hardware Configurations) i. When the Resources of the LC Server are getting increased. ii. When the concurrent users(LC Workbench/Service...

Well, found the answer. Seems that under the "Workspace user Interface" settings, I need to select "Default" and not "Approval Container".

Hi Jasmin / Jayan / and anyone else,We have new workstations with newer versions of JAWS installed and can't run the Adobe accessibility checker. The option is disabled. When JAWS is open, can't run Adobe's read out loud feature. Using Win XP Pro, JAWS 11, Designer ES (8.2) and have Acrobat 9 Pro and Reader 9 on workstations. Any ideas? Thanks

There are several options includingCreate a second XDP with read-only fields. After the first user task, merge the data with XDP containing read-only fields. After the first user task flatten the PDF. Depending on your LiveCycle environment this may be accomplished using LiveCycle Ouput ES, Assembler, or the DocConverter service.Steve

How about a single schema that defines multiple XML docs? You could then map the XML from each data source to a single XML instance that is merged with the form.Steve

The import process for ES (8.x) to ES2 (9.0) is confusing by my reckoning. Here are some notes I made for myself. PLEASE be aware that these notes were made for a very early build of ES2 so your mileage may vary.1) Admin UI - import 8.x archive2) Workbench applications view - click refresh3) create new application ('File > New > Application')4) optionally, create folders for forms, processes, etcetera5) right-click on application version folder and select 'Import'6) expand 'LiveCycle runtime con...

Hi Eric,You are correct. The Output service is required as listed on page 5 "Installing a LiveCycle ES2 server". It mentions that you need Adobe LiveCycle Output ES2 and Adobe LiveCycle Process Management ES2 to complete the tutorial. If you have access to the server, run the installer again and select Output ES2 in the LiveCycle Configuration Manager. HHope that helps!

I hope event will help you on this requirement. You could drop a throw event on each deny route and can complete the other tasks by writing a receive event.Nith

Parth, one problem with your approach is he will submit PDF and therefore you won't be able to put the PDF in a variable that's suppose to contain just xml.The prepopulation should be the same. If you start off with an xdp, then you will call a render service that merges data with your xdp to create a PDF.Now when you submit, you will submit the entire PDF back in the Document Form variable. In Workbench, you can use the FormDataIntegration service to extract data from that PDF that's being stor...

As you said, there's nothing really out of of the box that does that. The front end doesn't really matters. It depends what you're confortbale with. You can use the java Api or the Flex component to get to the process management information. If you're planning to use this application outside of workspace, I think it'll be easier to use the java api as oppose to the workspace-runtime.swc, since that compoent was built to be used within the context of Workspace.I hope that helps.Jasmin

This seems to be the top Google search result for format-dateTime-withFormat so I will post the necessary information here (as its either missing or curiously not searchable in the Workbench help pages). If you want to know what all of the possible strFormat combinations are, look in the Java reference for SimpleDateFormat:http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html

Eric,Yes, in workbench, there is a SOAP service that you can use to communicate with you other Web Service. the SOAP service acts just like any other activity in the process.
