Good afternoon, my good people.Working on a dynamic form. I have a three
column table. Column A is .7", column B is 1.2", and column C is 6.1".I
have a radio button that will cause the first two columns to hide (which
seemed to be way more difficult than it should've been - but I chalk
indeed hide. But.. column C (typically 6.1" wide) resizes itself to .7"
(the size of column A).Some words of wisdom, please.And, as an aside,...
I have figured out that I really don't require the checkbox to be
Calculated - User Can Override status. Now I've added an app.alert on
the Click Event that displays my required message.Thank you for the
If CheckBox1 is set to "Read Only" or "Protected" I am able to unlock it
with this click event in Button1:oTargetField =
this.resolveNode("CheckBox1"); oTargetField.access = "open";But,
unfortunately, I need to change it to Calculated - User Can Override.I
tried this to no avail:oTargetField = this.resolveNode("CheckBox1");
oTargetField.calculate.override = "warning";
And that is (yet another reason) reason I roll with the world-famous
MinusZero.You nailed it. That checkbox was inadvertently deleted. And
that is what threw it off the entire thing. I put it back and voila...
we're up and running.This is my first LiveCycle Designer form ever so
thank you being easy on me.Fantastic. Can't thank you enough.
To da rescue.Holy cow.When you click the numbered options in Tables 2
and 3, it automatically populates the boxes in the Table starting on
page 5.I'm flummoxed. It was all working perfect until I added the
functionality of the last radio button on page 2 (rbStep3 is the object
name). A "No" option to that radio button hides page 3 and the subform
Good evening, my LiveCycle Designer warriors.I have a format in which
I've done lots of coding. The coding worked fine.Last week, I added some
more functionality in which some items were hidden (flowed containers)
with the usage of a radio button.Perhaps it was a coincidence, but now
the coding has completely stopped and I can figure out why for the life
of me.Help. Is there anyway I can post this form for someone(s) to look
at?Thanks, in advance, everyone!
I got it.As the checkboxes were in a table, I had to drill down a little
farther. The name of the object alone didn't work.Also, I didn't explain
it particularly well the first time. I needed any combination of
checkboxes A through C to create a positive result in checkbox D.I was
able to modify the string slightly and it worked
perfectly.if(Page2.Table3Sec1.Row2.cb16.rawValue == "1" |
Page2.Table3Sec1.Row8.cb26.rawValue == "1" |
Page2.Table3Sec1.Row10.cb62.rawValue == "1") //if cb16 OR cb26 OR ...
First and foremost, thank you a great deal for your prompt
response.Tantalizingly close.Per request, I've utilized the script in
the checkboxes (changed the names, of course) to no avail. A couple of
questions:I tested your script in a brand new one page document. It
worked, as advertised. But, in my form the checkboxes appear on
different pages. AND they appear within a table. Does that make it
hairier?Also, I don't think I explained it appropriately. In your
script, all three checkboxes have t...
