Morning -I have two issues....I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer ES4My first issue is...I have a table that is adding rows when a button is pushed. I want one of the columns to increase in number by 1 for each row. I have this working BUT I want the first number to be 12, not 1. I cannot figure out how to do this! My second issue is I have a few fields on the master page that I want to appear on every page. Like Policy Number, Client name. When I add a unit on the form, it clears these fields o...

So here I am again with a bell and whistle request.I am not a programmer, so if someone were to help me, I'll need some hand holding.I have a 5 page form with lots of endorsements on it. Each Endorsement starts with a checkbox. Each endorsement is in it's own subform.I would like to see if I can arrange if someone clicks on a subform checkbox, it will print. Otherwise it will not. To save paper and sanity. I have about 13 forms like this, so in the long run it will save a lot.So for example....I...

doesnt matter how many radiobuttons you have... you need 3 methods in a script objectAs simple as this... you could be able to do it in only the click event but it's always easier using scriptObjects.

resolveNode is a method that only searchs for nodes with the given string,so in resolveNode() you must only insert somExpressions...cSubject: "District " + xfa.resolveNode("form1.Page1.TopPart.District").rawValue;euhmm and I never worked with electronic signature but you probably have an execValidate() method for your signature field?!?

With the validation method I posted you can set easily your own validation with what is already made for you, it doesn't need your fields to be required value, it just validate everything with some exceptions..If you don't have any special validation to do in your form, you might be able to use the following :if (form1.execValidate() == true){ }otherwise, using any special validation is more convenient using the function in the link

I appreciate your help, I didn't even noticed that I had like that already. However, I did have problems with the calculation. I had 3 seperate questions with a total of 16 different radio optionsso like question 1 had 4 options, question 2 had 6 options and question 3 had another 6 I tried doing the sum(rb11+rb2, etc.) but I got an error message stating it didn't know what RB1 was. Then I realized that I had the radio buttons stored in a group. Therefore to get it work I had to use, sum(GP1, GP...

Hi,ActiveXObject is not a method in LC Designer/XFA Forms (eg does not appear in the XFA Specification). Automatically/silently saving a form to a set directory, with a set name would be considered a security issue by Adobe. You would need a Trusted Function, which would be in a JavaScript file (.js), within a set Acrobat application folder. This can make it tricky to deploy and maintain. There is a long thread here with examples: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2267973#2267973. Also do a search...

Hi, (1) You can achieve this in the mouseUp event of the button, which fires before its click event: var vNow = new Date();TextField.rawValue = vNow.toDateString() + " " + vNow.toTimeString();This is populating a TextField, which could be hidden if you don't need the user to see it. (2) Don't know. (3) have a loop at our index button here: http://assure.ly/h4sIcQ. (4) Generally the XML filename matches the PDF filename. You would be able to change this, but it would require a trusted function, w...

I might add, now that's it has been a few days.I really don't need this to be emailed anywhere, I just need to get a clean copy of XML out of the form without the returns in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
