How to make a subform not print if the fields are empty - Adobe LiveCycle 14-05-2012
I'm once again working on that kind of client form where our agents fill in a bunch of fields on our forms and I only want those fields that are pertinent to that client to print out and I've grouped the fields that go together into separate subforms. There are date fields and currency fields that relayout to floating fields in hidden blocks of text that appear when the last text field is exited, ie:Subform1 "On 5/14/12 your application was approved. We will pay $100 to your account"Subform2 "On ...

Populate a Floating Field from Multiple Choices in a Drop Down List - Adobe LiveCycle 10-05-2012
Hi, folks, it's been a while which means things have been going smoothly. But what I'm trying to do at the moment has me stumped. I have a form that was originally made with a long section of checkboxes that our agents would check if the answers applied to the client's case. This meant that the client had a whole bunch of information that didn't apply to them on the form so I thought would be clearer for the client if the agent would select only those items that pertained to them in a List Box. ...

Re: Smileys in a radio button - Adobe LiveCycle 13-03-2012
I want to stick my two cents in about using Windings in any documents. They will cause the JAWS screen reader for the blind to read like a drunken monkey and will bounce all over the page after it encounters one. You can use ALT text which is JAWS friendly and get a smiley face by holding down the ALT key and typing a 1 or a 2.

Well, thanks again. I didn't even know that Google forum existed. Now I have a new place to scour for info.

Re: Multiple Monitors - Adobe LiveCycle 09-02-2012
Excellent, Jono, my IT people weren't sure if LiveCycle would do that.I wanted to tell you thanks for suggesting that book by JP Terry. I finished it but I couldn't get that last exercise about calling a webservice to work. I'd really like to have that translation page working to send to our Spanish department. They just created a 45 document with English to Spanish translations for our staff. The simple page in that exercise would have done that with two text fields.See my post under "I need to...

Multiple Monitors - Adobe LiveCycle 08-02-2012
Does anyone know how I would set up multiple monitors to have my palettes on one monitor and my document on another? I'm working on a 19" monitor and with all the design palettes on one side of the screen and the hierarchy open on the other side, I'm having to scroll back and forth to work on my document. I just know there has to be a better way.

I need to specify a "style" - Adobe LiveCycle 02-02-2012
I am working thru the book that Jono suggested (Thank you Jono) "Creating Dynamic Forms with Adobe LiveCycle Designer" by J.P.Terry and I'm on the second to the last chapter where I need to create a Translation document by linking to a Translation Web Service. I really think this is something we could use in our Spanish division but I can't get it to work. The web service keeps saying that my XML file doesn't have a style assigned to it but it does show "document" as the style type. When I look a...

Thank you again. That was driving me crazy (or crazier as the case may be). You are the best, Niall.
