Hi there,I have occasionally run into the problem in the past. I had discussed this with developer and we think it is resolved in version 10.0 (LiveCycle was rebranded to Adobe Digital Enteprise Platform). I was talking to the developer and this is what we think is occuring:When you edit your process, it creates XML in the backend that is used by Process Designer when it reloads. Sometimes edit operations in process designer might cause bits of XML to be left uncompleted (again, it is believed t...

You can customize the email notifications directly by customizing the User service (ensure you select all in the Properties View) to see the Custom Email Settings properties. Otherwise, you can all customize them using the server settings. The following blogs are good sources of information, which you can see at the bottom of the help page:http://blogs.adobe.com/livecycle/2010/11/how-to-complete-a-task-via-email-using-reply-to-complete.htmlHope that helps. This may help you to build the XPath if it is saved as an XML variable.http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/building-xml.htmlHope that helps....Gil

The fds.swc file should be located in the LiveCycle version of the Flex SDK. You can get that version of the SDK from your DVD under livecycle_dataservices folder. The file you are looking for is called flex_sdk_3.zip. All the localization files you require are also in the LiveCycle version of the SDK. Even though the name of the file seems to imply that it is a vanilla version of Flex SDK 3, it is not. Please refer to page 18 of the Customizing the LiveCylcle Workspace ES User Interface guide a...

Hi Ronak,You must change the application.name in your build.xml found the workspace-ui project as Diana mentions. In addition, I assume you want to change the URL that your EAR is deployed to?If so, you need to change the web.xml file found in the templates folder in the workspace-ui project. In addition, in the LiveCycle Administration Console, you must register the new URL in the config.xml file. Instructions for both are found here on pages 29 and 35 respectively. Hope that helps!...Gil

1) The process of building (with Ant) is painfully slow. It lasts over a minute (1:03) to build and publish the ".ear" file (the CPU is Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q 6600 @ 2.40GHz).Does in have to be like that or am I doing something wrong here? Do I have to use "Cray" os something? One minute is about right. This is because ANT is packaging the compiled source into an WAR and EAR file. If you just want to work with the code and not deploy it, you can switch back and use the "Flex" builder. You will s...

An update. Here is the link for the platform support matrix. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/LiveCycle/9.5/supported_platforms.htmlJBoss 4.2.2 is not on the list. You may want to consider getting a subscription of JBoss EAP 4.3 which gives them access to the Cumulative Patches from RedHat. If you are looking to evaluate LiveCycle, the JBoss Turnkey installer is probably your best way to get up and running quickly.

There is a entire Application model available that let's you key in on different types of events that include Application events and form interaction events. What are you trying to accomplish?

Hi Nith,You need to bind it to the setWorkspaceData event and of course remove the hideAllContainersView() function.Try making the call in a function that is bound to the setWorkspaceData event handler. It works for me:...public function returnWorkspaceSession(event:SwfDataEvent):void{lcConnector.task = event.task;lcConnector.showAttachmentsView();//Configure the form to be displayed in the model component.model.configureLoadForm(lcConnector);var fullname:String;var instructions:String;instructi...

Hi Nith,The Approval Container was coded that way in the example by using the hideAllContainerView() method. You can either remove that call or you can add UI widgets like a button to make calls to the SwfConnector object to display or hide the views you want using the following methods:- showTaskDetailsView- hideTaskDetailsView- showAttachmentsView- hideAttachmentsView- showFormView- hideFormViewSee the SwfConnector page for more details: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/acti...
