At this point, the new Layout Template system is "beta" and is running parallel to the existing Cards & Layouts system. You can duplicate designs into the the new system, but the old designs remain available. The new Layout Templates system has it's own Default Card, select it and edit as you wish. Change the name of this card if you like -- but note that when you look at mapping, the bottom card has a special icon, a bit like an open box with little blocks dropping into it. This "catch all" icon ...

Could it be optional to have a browse page automatically update? Our page lists the latest editions, and it is really no reason not to refresh the page. It is update once a day.

Hi Espen,This is actually one of the core ideas we talked about when first discussing DPS 2015 with customers (before we even started building it). We call them dynamic collections and they're absolutely a cool idea. A lot of the infrastructure of DPS 2015 was built assuming they would exist down the road too. For example, you'll notice when you hit a browse page that it doesn't matter how many items are in the collection, we'll still load it super fast and handle it fine.At any rate, it's on ou...

Hi Espen,The browse page replaces those two navigation elements in DPS 2015. If you want to provide that style of quick navigation to your readers we encourage you to enable the browse page for your collection. You could also put a navto://relative/first link on your articles that, when tapped, would take the reader back to the start.Neil

Agree with this completely. However, It seems that that could/should be an option to be selected when building the app or the project - similar to burning a CD and specifying the gap between songs. Future release maybe?

Yes the performance works fine in safari (as well as expected), as does it in DPS classic. The last two editions of WIRED UK for both tablet and phone are HTML, https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/wired-magazine-uk/id400701660?mt=8I can share them with you if you want.I have an idea that the custom Nav (that currently does not work in the publish environment) is causing an issue leading to excess render time (not loading time). I am planning to make a new version of the app that does not have this f...
