Re: Application ID Capturing in Page Name - How to Debug? PratheepArunRaj - Adobe Experience Platform SDKs
Dear All,Able to fix the gaps. Just sharing the fix details for everyone's reference.Though Adobe Launch SDK 5x was used, still the Page View Server Call relies on TrackState. We thought that TrackState will send the response to Launch and Launch will fire the Server Call since it is an intermediate layer, but it fires the Server Call typically like our Mobile Service. If we need to use any additional Server Call based on the Track State Name and Context Variable, we can fire using Adobe Launch....

Re: Suspected UI Bug - Launch Environment Mobile App Install Instructions - Unable to copy pieces of install code Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Hi tim.smith.mccann,The highlighted sections in yellow in your screen shot are the default Application Code in either Android or iOS. You need to only click the square next to shadow box square on the right hand side, it will copy the necessary content that you then insert in your current app code. This link to a sample app implementation may provide some additional insight for you.Install the Mobile SDK There are similar links to Android and Objective-C.Regards,Jen

Re: Analytics Request Being Queued , Not able to send data from Swift Demo App anudeeps6518666 - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile
Hi Jennifer,Sorry, I removed the identifiers from the script and replaced with XYZ characters to make sure tracking server and other details are not exposed to everyone .. I was able to fix this, There were two issues essentially. 1. Our internal Proxy was blocking Launch files to be accessed .. Moved to another network it was solved.2. When I added Analytics extension it came with the tracking server details but it was just . We have to add sc.omtrdc.net at the end which I overlookedSimple Stuf...

Re: how to set evar with launch mobile services Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Hi,Using the methods trackState and trackAction you are able to send additional data. See sample iOS-Swift sample, the documentation exists for Objective-C and Android as well Add Adobe Analytics It appears that you are familiar with "props and eVars" in Analytics, you will notice that these variable names are not in the SDK. All key/value data coming from the SDK will be sent as contextData variables , and as such will need to be mapped to props or eVars (or other variables) by using Processing...

Re: Hits being sent from my Mobile App are not in reporting Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile
The most common reason hits do not appear in reporting when you indeed see hits being sent is due to a mismatch of Timestamp Configuration.A reportsuite can be 1 of 3 optionsTimestamps not allowedTimestamps RequiredTimestamps OptionalIf you have the mobile property OfflineEnabled:true in your ADBMobileConfig.json or you have the checkbox OfflineEnabled in Launch then your reportsuite needs to be either Timestamps Required or Timestamps Optional (this allows both timestamped and non timestamped h...

Re: Link tracking and page views - Launch implementation on iOS app Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
@Locutus243A trackState is basically equivalent to a s.t( ) call in the web, which indeed is a pageview.A trackAction is again equivalent to a s.tl( ) call in the web, is it a custom link call. For the 4.x SDKTrack App StatesTrack App ActionsFor the AEP SDKAdobe Analytics - Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDKs Regards,Jen

Re: Adobe Analytics: Mobile App Page Views vs. Web Page Views Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile
Hi Paulina,Ultimately, yes, they are similar. Using the Mobile SDK a 'pageview' is captured when a trackState method is called. You can somewhat equate a web s.t( ) with a mobile trackState( ) method call.A visit is the same, a 'new' visit occurs where there has not been a hit sent for 30 minutes.Jen

Re: How to setup Multisuit Tagging on Mobile App (Android and Ios) Jen_Andrews - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile
Hi manujendrap10273043,Assuming this is for 4.x SDK.From the Adobe Mobile Services interface when creating a new App you can only associate one report suite. However, in a scenario where you need to send data to multiple report suites for the same app you can manually modify the ADBMobileConfig.json to add additional report suites. The section to modify is"analytics": { "rsids": "myreportsuite1,myreportsuite2",Additionally, you need to ensure that in terms of variables and events that each repor...

Re: Is there a way to include Page Name when calling trackAction from the iOS Mobile SDK? Asheesh_P - Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile
Hi,I agree with Jen Andrews here...you don't need to set page name with trackAction calls. However, in some cases, you may want to set pagename with trackAction calls. How page name gets set:trackState reports the View State as Page Name, and state views are reported as Page View in Analytics. The value is sent to Analytics by using the page name variable (pagename=value). If you really need to set pagename with trackAction call I would recommend setting pagename in contextData with trackAction ca...

Hi laetizia_2018,Here are the two links that describe how Adobe SDK reports a crashTrack App Crashes iOSTrack App Crashes AndroidThe Adobe SDK does not report the page or more detailed as type of crash. This mostly due to the fact that companies like Apteligent use a global NSException handler to provide more detailed crash reporting and an app is not permitted to have more that one of these kind of handlers because of this Adobe decided to not implement a global NSexception handler to prevent t...
